Southgate motel 6 is burnt to the ground DO NOT BOOK A ROOM
Pros:

Nothing after a 16.5 hour drive i pulled up to a burn down hotel and had to make new arrangements cause the hotel was still taking bioking and trying to rob people. They have the hotel listed under 2 names on booking.com too

Cons:

That it's been burn down for over a month and they are still taking people's money

Aborted due to fire.
Cons:

I spent one night out of the four I paid for and a fire broke out about 5 am the following morning. Long story short, I paid $350, and have only received $50 of the promised @$250 Customer Service said I was being refunded. So, am I still being charged for 2 nights despite only being there for one?

I booked a stay for 5 days.. I was coming in from out of state for family. The pictures made it look like a nice place to stay but also cost effective, but was not the case. First room was clean, but had bedbug markings all over the bed. Told the attendant and she put us in a different room. Second room as well had bedbug markings, but the attendant tried to reassure us it was “tar” from people smoking. In fact was not and the room smelled so bad of sewage. Like really bad. I did not stay. I was there a total of 15 mins. I am fighting to get my room canceled. It would cost me more to exterminate my home if I was to bring anything home with me. Not worth the stay, at all

Pros:

The room was wonderful. The staff was welcoming. Being pet friendly makes all the difference for us. Unfortunately, it was so noisy all night we hardly slept. There was a lot of road noise and a LOT of people loudly coming and going at all hours.
