The location was tremendous. The food was superb. The staff were generally helpful and engaging. There was a small amount of arrogance but overall excellent.
The shower tended to soak the entire bathroom floor.i think its a bit of a design flaw, but a very minor issue
Una experiencia espectacular de principio a fin. El hotel es majestuoso, con la elegancia y el encanto de un verdadero palacio frente al mar. Las habitaciones están nuevas, son muy cómodas y cuentan con un precioso baño y un balcón con una vista impresionante. El spa y el circuito de talasoterapia son simplemente increíbles y valen completamente la experiencia. Además, la ubicación es perfecta para recorrer Saint-Jean-de-Luz caminando. Sin duda, volveríamos.
No tenemos nada negativo que mencionar. Todo estuvo a la altura de un hotel de esta categoría y disfrutamos muchísimo nuestra estadía.

Hung around for. 2 hours to get room got into room at 4.30 tried to book a table for dinner and were told they did not have a table available not good enough after spending 500€ for room with no breakfast we were very disappointed as it was first time there would we go back .?
Its location right on the beautiful beach and proximity to the town centre. The two concierges were on it! Most of the staff were well trained, polite and efficient - but one could sense there was an air of frustration throughout their demeanour.
Although we were told the hotel has had a recent makeover - and the outside indeed looked very elegant - a lot of the finer points in our junior suite had been overlooked! For example the WiFi was very intermittent meaning we weren’t able to use our bedside phone to call for room service or even to the reception - dangerous in an emergency. To charge our mobile phones overnight the light switch had to be on! Non-sensical. The size of our WC and bathroom were so small for a junior suite and not at all good value for what we expected. Breakfast and its layout was a shambles. A real pity as the hotel has obviously gone to great expense in upgrading - but someone needs to get hold of it and give it the 5 stars its location and building deserve.

Habitaciones con escaso espacio y los precios de gastronomía altos , si bien muy buena y que te cobren el parking

Le matelas peut être un peu dur pour ceux qui sont vraiment sensible à ce niveau là. Mais tout à fait convenable.

Tout était parafait: l’accueil, la gentillesse du personnel, quel que soit le lieu de l’hôtel (restaurant, bar, accueil), le spa fraîchement rénové incroyable ! Vue sur l’océan magnifique (les couchers de soleil sont incroyables), j’ai aussi apprécié que le personnel passé en 2eme partie de journée vérifier que tout aille bien et nous offrir des chocolats ! Les petits déjeuners ont certes un coût mais sont faits avec des produits locaux et de qualité, en bonne quantité, et en y ayant passé la semaine je ne m’en suis pas lassée tellement le choix est vaste

Tout était parfait si ce n’est que la piscine était fermée une partie du séjour mais j’ai pu y accéder en fin de séjour et vraiment très agréable :) je reviendrai !
El hotel está muy bien. el spa está a pie de playa y se puede acceder. Restaurante bueno y personal muy amable y resolutivo. Si vuelvo a San Juan de Luz, vuelvo al hotel seguro.
Quizá el baño de la habitación un pelín viejo y sin ducha, sólo bañera.
Beautifully located, elegant hotel. The staff were excellent, at the top of their game - welcoming, knowledgeable & helpful. The reception rooms were stunning & the terrace just perfect. Loved the spa, particularly the salt water swimming pool with views of the beach.
The bedroom was very small for the price paid & shower room cramped. I suppose that's the offset for staying in a historic building.
