Great, well located hotel
Pros:

Well situated hotel with friendly staff. Clean rooms with a lift. The corridors are fairly narrow but rooms are well soundproofed. Breakfast was self serve continental with something to suit everyone. There is the elusive mirror with a table in front which has plug sockets for when you are drying your hair! Not every hotel has this, thank you!! Quad room had plenty of space for luggage and clothes, etc.

Da ritornarci
Pros:

Amazing experience in Kensington
Pros:

Really good the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect quiet but still lively ideal for resting after visiting all the noisy neighborhoods of the city. I recommend it, the only downside is that the wall felt a bit thin and you could hear everything happening in the hallway.

Best of Bayswater for a reasonable fee
Pros:

Location and friendly staff contributed to an excellent short stay in London this time. Phoenix is a recently and nicely refurbished, clean and tidy typical Bayswater area hotel. Room with comfortable bed and well functioning bathroom (shower: great!), surely gave me my money's worth, at a decently cheap rate, too. Breakfast: plenty of choices in the Continental version, included in the room charge; yummy scrambled eggs at a reasonable £2 premium, quickly served up by attentive breakfast room staff, and with a smile, too!
Front desk staffl: helpful, efficient, friendly.
Communications: three tube lines served by two stations (Bayswater and Queensway) within a five minute walk.
Surroundings: a villagey feeling along Queensway with lots of restos any type incl two pubs and several Italians; cafés no end with pavement serving, convenience shops, groceries for any need. Kensington Gardens just across from Bayswater Road, half hour walk to V&A and the Museum Area (if not raining, otherwise Central Line).
I'll be back!

Another great stay at this lovely hotel
Pros:

I had a single room and I had stayed before. The room was small, but I had expected that, so no surprise for me. The key for this hotel is that the shower is always excellent and the beds are always comfy so this was true from this stay also. Breakfast was good also.

Cons:

A safety deposit box would have been nice

Pros:

A nice stay
Pros:

Nice four night stay ay the Phoenix, very well situated, surrounded by lots of shopping places, M and S market round the corner and lots of tiny restaurants in Queensway Street. Nice continental breakfast, hearty enough to go through the city for a long trip. T ube station Queensway and Bus number 94 to Piccadilly Circus near the corner down Queensway street at about 5 minutes walk. Our room was a double bed one, proper and facing the street.Maybe the heating was a bit too warm for us.Bathroom clean and functional, except the shower curtain which sticks up to your skin when showering. To our point of view no need to have a bath. Better have a real shower but the building seems a bit too old for that and not sure it is worth while from a financial point of view. No safe in the room, pity for a 4 star hotel! We spent a really nice stay at this period of the year when prices are low.We regret we could not afford the Summer prices for the same sort of stay. But this is life, isn't it ?Best regards. Gil
