Excellent value for a comfortable clean room
Pros:

The hotel was easy to find and very close to Shenarts where we were seeing a play. The room was clean and comfortable and an exceptional value. Very happy with our stay and would stay again.

Pros:

Nearby remembrance ceremony. Did not arrive until after 11 PM instead of the 3-5 checkin. Left about 7. relations with staff limited to late niht desk crew. Did not take advantage of facilities or breakfast.

Cons:

Nothing. CLean. Affordable and convenient.

Pros:

Micah checked me in and was so pleasant, nice knowledgeable young lady. A good mix of guests from motorcycle groups, families to couples. Surprisingly quiet 8/21 weekend at pool so kudos to the parents w kids at pool. Keep in mind the pricepoint when reviewing. so some furniture such as tables, dressers, chairs are gouged or stained. Mattress was semi firm pillows had no odors. Chargers in lamps all worked but a wall outlet wouldn't work even after flipping switch so just plugged the floor lamp into a different outlet. Carpet was old like old old so wear slippers. The sheet count was nice as was cleanliness of towels. Shower pressure was excellent with neck setting after driving.cable tv so be prepared for less selection or bring tablet. Proximity to several restaurants was great can recommend Chicano Boy, and a Dollar General. Downtown Staunton was cool with Shakespeare Theatre. Surprise delight seasonal was the pepper, gourd, eggplant and okra garden with fragrant pea blossoms on the breeze at pool. Ample pool seating with chairs and loungers. Pool ph was perfect and absolutely pure bliss clean.

Cons:

Pool was in no manner ADA so beware if expecting ramp, stairs or handicap lift to access.No signage so I would recommend for insurance purposes owners posting signage immediately. Pool is 3 to 9 feet with nice chairs and umbrellas. Due to no doors on internal breezeways rain blows in and pools so floor has ALOT of standing water and makes floor incredibly slippery. Watched a guy drop his hot pizza from Luca. No playground, but small grass space behind hotel and Gypsy Hill Park is a short drive away with skate ramps, pond and 2 playgrounds and golf course for adults. The icemakers on some floors did not work for weekend of 8/21 3rd floor ice maker did work and 2nd floor washing machine did. Weirdest thing was there was no extra toilet paper roll stocked.. if your room only has half roll for weekend ask at desk.Not the item to cut guest corners on imo.

the stay overall was fine however the bed was way too soft to sleep in

the room was clean. the staff was very friendly

Cons:

the bed was like sleeping in a hammock way too soft and very uncomfortable. The toilet was so low it was like one in a kindergarten class. The breakfast was sub-par.

Clean and comfortable with a beautiful little pool
Pros:

A family run hotel. A few things are well worn, but always spotlessly clean and comfortable. I was in Staunton for the music festival and the location near downtown couldn't be better. A delightful week. The beautiful outdoor pool was an especially delicious delight in mid-August. Lovely!

Cons:

The elevator smelled plus gave me a headache and got stuck the first night we were there . Also the room smelled musty. Breakfast could have been better but wasn’t super bad.
