Nice place, cozy room, feel at home.
Breakfast was good and thank Elham for her good and dedicated work!
nice staff, hot tub/heated swimming pool!, beds are huge and not too firm, parking mostly available
not an issue per say but i noticed some traveling baseball teams stay there and took up all the parking for like 6 hours 😭
Staff was friendly and location was convenient.
Air conditioner didn't work properly and thermostat had a low battery. Toilet didn't flush properly. Shower was dirty.
The swimming pool
Comfortable room
Breakfast area confined and somewhat difficult to navigate
Good location lots of food around and cant hear the highway noise in my room. Room was pretty clean. House keeping missed a few things but not enough for me to leave. Breakfast here is one the better around, Elham greets you with smile evey morning. We try and atay here every time we are in the detriot market.
I was pleasantly surprised. I had never stayed in a Holiday Inn and good not believe how clean and nice everything was..Staff was very helpful.
Nothing
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so frustrating that it deserves to be shared.
I arrived around 3:00 a.m. after a 13-hour drive, towing a truck and trailer. The parking lot was completely full, and a large section of the rear parking area was roped off despite appearing to have ample room for additional vehicles and trailers. When I explained my situation to the front desk, I was repeatedly told that the hotel was fully booked—as if that somehow addressed the parking problem.
The front desk employee offered no practical solution. First, I was told to try neighboring hotels, which were also full. Then I was directed to a nearby business parking lot, but the employee admitted she wasn’t sure whether I was actually allowed to park there. Next, the manager suggested parking on the road and made it clear that I would be entirely responsible if anything happened to my truck or trailer. That is not an acceptable solution for a paying guest.
When I rejected that suggestion, the front desk employee then recommended parking along the side of the building, despite there being no designated spaces and the location potentially blocking vehicles already parked there. After nearly 40 minutes of back-and-forth, contradictory suggestions, and complete lack of problem-solving, I was finally told I could park in the fire lane area at the end of the hotel—the very type of solution that should have been offered from the beginning.
Because of the staff’s inability to make a decision or provide clear guidance, I lost 40 minutes of valuable rest time after an exhausting day of travel. I had to be back on the road by 8:30 a.m., and those 40 minutes mattered. What should have been a quick check-in became an unnecessary ordeal caused entirely by poor communication, lack of initiative, and an apparent absence of common sense from both the front desk staff and management.
To make matters worse, the hotel has refused to offer any discount, compensation, or acknowledgment that their handling of the situation was unacceptable.
A full parking lot is not necessarily the hotel’s fault. However, how staff respond to guest problems absolutely is. This team demonstrated poor judgment, little concern for a weary traveler, and an astonishing inability to provide a straightforward solution. I would strongly recommend that anyone traveling with a truck, trailer, RV, or oversized vehicle call ahead and get parking arrangements confirmed in writing before staying here.
Good staff. Elham takes good care of guests and the breakfast bar! Will love to come back!
BEDBUGS!!!! This location has bedbugs. We were in room 210 and woke up to bed bugs in our bed. I never expected anything like this from a hotel with great ratings like this. The General manager decided to go back and forth with me about the issue. It took multiple calls to get them to release my refund. Beware if booking here! Their walls are also super thin, you can hear everything in each room… they wanted to complain about my kids being loud whole time they have bed bugs. SMH!
Nothing .
Woke up to bedbugs bites, Thin walls, Complaining about my kids being loud at 5pm.
