Strangers In The Night
Pros:

Flight delayed three times; missed connector and next flight tomorrow. Booked room with IHG points and shuttle driver (Stanley) came out of the mist. Check in smooth, room clean and Wawa gas station dinner was delicious? Offered tip to Muhammed and Robbins but they requested a review instead. Gladly obliged; very grateful for strangers in the night who've become fast friends.

Location was great for us. It was a quick trip to the port for our cruise

Cons:

No fault of the hotel but the traffic noise was horrible. It kept us awake until way past 3 am. Front desk staff not real friendly.

WARNING: Property Ignores IHG Rewards Clause 50 - Stranded My Elderly Parents at 11pm
Pros:

Writing this as a WARNING to IHG One Rewards members, specifically those with family. Booked a stay for my elderly parents using IHG's Free Night Certificate. Despite calling weeks in advance to add them as secondary guests (per IHG Program Terms), hotel refused to check them in at 11:00 PM.

Hotel cited "local policy" that prohibits secondary guests from checking in on reward nights without primary member. Direct violation of IHG One Rewards Clause 50, which explicitly permits this (see photo). To make matters worse, the hotel sent a notification of this rogue policy via email at 5:55 AM (see photos) on the day of arrival—an impossible timeframe for travelers already in transit to pivot.

My parents were stranded late at night and forced to pay $200 out-of-pocket because the property refused to honor a confirmed reservation. A look at other reviews reveals this is a documented pattern at this property: they systematically ignore global IHG point/reward terms to force guests into paying cash rates.

IHG Corporate (Case #10582694613) has thus far stated they cannot override this property's "local rules." If you value your IHG benefits and expect the brand’s global terms to be honored, I strongly recommend booking elsewhere. This property chooses its own predatory internal rules over the loyalty program’s contract.

Consider booking with another hotel program if IHG refuses to enforce its own terms like this.
