Pros:

Το προσωπικό ήταν επαγγελματικά φιλικό. Το κρεβάτι μεγάλο και άνετο. Το στρώμα και τα μαξιλάρια τέλεια. Το δωμάτιο πεντακάθαρο
.Η περιοχή κέντρο απόκεντρο. 15 λεπτά περπάτημα από τα κεντρικά σημεία. Το πρωινό πλούσιο και για κάθε γούστο.

Cons:

Πλήρωσα έξτρα δημοτικό φόρο 45 ευρώ . Ο φόρος αυτός έπρεπε να πληρωθεί στο ξενοδοχείο και δεν ήταν σαφές όταν έκανα την κράτηση. Επιπλέον μου ζήτησαν 55 ευρώ εγγύηση για τυχόν κατανάλωση αναψυκτικών από το μίνι μπαρ του δωματίου. Να σημειώσω ότι στο μινι ψυγείο του δωματίου υπήρχαν 3 ή 4 αναψυκτικά μια σοκολάτα και ένα σνακ συνολικής αξίας περίπου 15 ευρώ.

A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE – AVOID THIS HOTEL!

Our stay at Hotel Barcelona Universal was absolutely dreadful. We were assigned a room on the second floor, with windows practically at street/pavement level, exposing us directly to the noise and chaos outside.

The windows were so poorly soundproofed that they might as well not have existed. Throughout BOTH nights, groups of young people, beggars and people apparently under the influence of drugs gathered right outside our window, drinking, eating and making noise throughout the night. Getting any decent sleep was simply impossible.

We paid for a hotel room, not for a front-row seat to a street party in the middle of the night. After two completely sleepless nights, our entire trip was negatively affected. Rest and basic comfort should be the absolute minimum a hotel provides, yet this property failed miserably on both counts.

What makes this experience particularly unacceptable is that guests should not have to endure such conditions after paying for accommodation. A room where you cannot sleep because of constant street noise is simply not fit for purpose.

The location may look convenient on paper, but what is the point of a good location if you cannot get a single decent night's sleep? Poor sound insulation and a room exposed directly to street-level disturbances are serious shortcomings that prospective guests deserve to know about.

I would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel, especially to families with children or anyone who values a good night's sleep. Based on our experience, I would never stay here again.

Management seriously needs to address the noise insulation and the allocation of these street-exposed rooms. Guests pay for accommodation and rest, not two nights of misery.

Save your money and choose somewhere else.

Our stay was excellent.
Pros:

The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and very supportive.Especially Oscar,
Hector and the others at the Front Desk were exceptionally great. The breakfast was lovely and the location side of a Netro station so very well located sbd connected.

A good hotel and good location
Pros:

The air conditioner was excellent. The room was modern, comfortable, spacious, and clean.

Cons:

There weren't any modern outlets for different device cables. The rooms on the main avenue on a lower floor and if you're a light sleeper, you will hear everything until 3:00 a.m. Request an inside room or a high floor for a less noisy night

Prima hotel voor city bezoek.
Pros:

De locatie dicht bij de Metro. Vriendelijk personeel en het was schoon.

Cons:

Eigenlijk niets. Als ik dan toch iets moet zeggen, wat vis bij het ontbijt en de drankjes op de rooftop waren erg prijzig.

Zentrale Lage direkt an der Bahn
Super Frühstück

Cons:

Extrem unfreundliches Personal.
Normale Doppelzimmer sind mit Milchglasfenster zu einem dreckigen Innenhof der wie ein Schacht aussieht (siehe Foto). Sobald man den Vorhang aufmacht, können alle anderen Zimmer reinschauen.
Bar und Dachterrasse sind nach 20 Uhr geschlossen.
Extrem hellhörig,sodass der Wecker des Nachbarzimmer einen weckt.
