Airways Hotel

Returned to this hotel after a 12 months gap only to be disappointed in the service and room service. Room was not cleaned properly , stayed two nights and room was not serviced. Coffee and tea in the room was low and not replenished during my stay. Had a meal at the view restaurant was pleasant but linen napkins appeared to be re used from previous diners, not clean and crumpled. It has had such a good reputation in the past but seems to be slipping in customer service under new management.

We (4 adults and one toddler) went to Deli KC's for breakfast while waiting on a flight. 3 of the adults ordered dishes which entailed "poached eggs" all of which came out literally cold, and none of which were runny (they resembled boiled eggs). My niece ordered the smashed avocado on toast, it was not smashed nor seasoned - just some slices on an unbuttered piece of toast. From their warmer we ordered a sausage roll, which was literally a tiny sausage wrapped in puff pastry, and a ham chicken turnover that was surprisingly tasty. My toddler had eggs (like a broken omelette) on toast - we had to take the eggs off the toast to butter it but at least these eggs were hot. The Coffee's were quite good, the staff were immaculately dressed and attentive, however I would not eat there again.

Nice room, clean pool, superb view from the restaurant, good food, best hotel around, good transfer from the airport. We wish to come back.

Boring breakfast foods - the place has gone backwards in 2025. Look at other food options and consider vegetarians too please. Look at what your competitors are offering - its so much better.

the chairs are filthy with years of grime and embedded on the arm rests. They dirty. Please clean them

Celebrated my son’s 5th birthday at The Vue restaurant and had such a great time! Big thanks to Andrea B and Melissa for their warm and friendly service. They made our night so easy to enjoy!

For a one star hotel, this is over rated. They ran out of food at 6.30pm, except for boiled cauliflower. Fortunately we found a kebab shop a kilometre walk away. Room facilities fail to reflect photographs in advertisements. Shower over high bath, making shower unusable. Room spacious due to lack of facilities. Would have been better off sleeping at the airport.

We stayed one night, and truly enjoyed it. The restaurant is excellent, the pool area is nice, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff, nice acommodations, right by the airport

Room felt like it needed maintenance and didn't like catching my foot on the step between bedroom area and bathroom.
The staff were exceptional and attentive. I had a massage at the spa which was really special. Will definitely be returning.

Friendly staff. Great food options, the buffets are good. Clean rooms. Close to airport with free shuttle. They were relaying roads so took a while to get there, as one road closed.

Loved that they had a free shuttle from the airport and it was super easy to arrange there and then and didn't have to be prebooked - made me feel safe in Port Morseby without a taxi. Check in was easy and smooth. My room had 2 twin beds so they easily moved me to have a king bed. Room was immaculately clean and plenty of space.

Nice hot water (once it heated up), fresh crisp sheets, lots of toiletries, after dinner mints all great in the room. Pool area, clean and tidy with plenty of towels - nice view of the airport. Restaurant service was second to none and they knew my name on return visits. Great recommendations to try the buffet and the food was decent quality.

The day spa, while no longer ran by the hotel was good quality and I would go again.

Only small disappointment if there was any, was the plane bar has now been closed which was a quirky drawcard for me, but not a deal breaker. Would still recommend.

We loved our stay at Airways, lovely staff, great food, nice pool and amazing Spa. After climbing Mt Giluwe and Mt Wilhelm we enjoyed a couple of nice relaxing days at the Airways Hotel

We stayed in one of the spacious dakota suites & had the pleasure of enjoying afternoons drinks at the club room.
Staff are ever so helpful. The privacy & peace the Airways Hotel offers is the main reason we stay there.

Stayed at Airways going into and out of PNG. Close to airport with pick-up and drop-off services included. Open air restaurant serves a great breakfast buffet!

I didn’t seem to receive the room I ordered. Beds were still comfortable.
