This is a great hotel!! One of our favorites! The rooms are so spacious and the beds are soooooo comfortable!!!! The pool is phenomenal!!!!
We arrived at 1a in the morning after a lengthy drive and found the condition of the property deplorable.
Upon arriving, there is a musty stench, we chalked it up to humidity and it appeared there were some renovations.
However, once we got to our room it was apparent this property is not sanitary.
The words do not do justice to how disgusting this property is. I've attached videos and photos.
We immediately left and found a different Marriott property that was clean and in the condition that anyone would expect for the $200/ night rate for a hotel.
Marriott should be ashamed that this particular property is even open representing the Marriott brand.
Location
The AC in our room was not working and it was EXTREMELY HOTT!!!!! The floor (carpet) was SOAKING WET! The hotel and rooms smell musky (probably from the carpet staying wet after they “shampoo” them or the fact that dogs are allowed. Room rates were OVER PRICED due to events in the area & You definitely do not get what you pay for! VERT DISAPPOINTED!! 😔
The living area was nice and comfortable. The room was nice and cool when we arrived. Everything was clean. Check in was easy. The clerk was friendly.
The bedroom was small. I realize it was just to sleep but maneuvering around the bed was tight. The reservation was a king suite. But the bed was a full size. We slept comfortably but it was very close quarters. Accessing the parking lot was not a straight entry. Some of the USB ports did not work.
Nothing
I didn’t stay there. I booked and they overbooked so I had no room so I had to leave my party and stay 15 minutes away.
Room was dirty , there was hair on the bed and in the bath.

We arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon. I inquired if we could check in and the young lady told me the room( 2 bedrooms suite)wasn’t ready told me to try back in an hour. We went back around 5pm, different young lady tell me that they have been having trouble with all of the 2 bedroom suite and the would have to put us in separate rooms ( My husband, bound son17, goddaughter 9, and grandson 3 and myself. We agreed to this, my husband and son in one room, myself and the other 2 in another room. Next morning I get a call from the front desk that the 2 bedroom suite is ready or we can stay where we are. We chose to stay where we were. 10 minutes late I received another call and was told I had to go to the 2 bedroom suite or I would be charged for the rooms that we were in.
So it’s ok for me to be ok when you all don’t get it right but now I gotta repack, move and unpack again. I was very disappointed with this treatment.
Upon arrival the staff was very friendly. The room was spacious and clean; exactly what we needed after a long day’s drive.
While the hotel is pet friendly, there didn’t seem to be a designated area for pets outdoors. With the hotel being next to a major highway and pets needing space to run and take care of their business, it would be nice to have a fenced area where we can supervise our pets while they enjoy their outside time.
Everything was perfect, would definitely stay there again!!
