Total Bliss by the Beach.
Pros:

Exceptional and beautiful Hotel. Totally different from the usual resort scheme. Amenities are well suited for an older no nonsense client that loves well thought through charm and sophistication. Gardens are lush and beautiful, rooms are perfectly outfitted, scenery is perfection and the restaurants are exquisite. You definitely get a European vibe unlike what you get in the states. Management is very personable and very present. Staff goes out of their way to ensure you are enjoying as much as you possibly can. Huge nod to Carlos the bartender down by the beach and the restaurants are fabulous. Can’t say enough great things about it. Can’t wait to return.

A home from home, if my home was surrounded by palm trees!
Pros:

A real find - a series of pretty houses nestled in the hillside. Tranquil with lovely views of the sea. Andrea and Rupert provide an exceptionally warm welcome. Lots of homely touches in the rooms and (never before experienced) a heated loo seat!

Cons:

Well the cockerel waking me up at 6am was a bit brutal, but I grew to love him too!

Wunderbarer Ort zum Fliehen, klein aber sehr fein
Pros:

Super freundliche Gastgeber und Personal. Liebevoll eingerichtete Anlage mit vielen hübschen Details. Zimmer zum Wohlfühlen wie zu Hause. Das Gegenteil von 8/15 und steril sondern warm und mit kleinen Details ausgelegt, die es dem Gast noch etwas angenehmer machen und die man nicht erwartet. Zum Beispiel die Wahl zwischen Deckenventilator oder Klimaanlage, Eismaschine im Zimmer, von Künstlern gestaltete Kissen, hochmoderne Toilette und vieles mehr.

Cons:

Auf einigen Strandliegen fehlen Kissen, die Hängematten sind durchgehangen. Alles aber immer noch funktional. Scheint mir eher ein Insel-Beschaffungs-Problem zu sein.

The best island experience! It exceeded all expectations.
Pros:

A jewel in the Caribbean! This exquisite, historic hotel is in a beautiful setting with every attention to class, style and comfort. The fine dining is gourmet quality perfectly executed. The entire experience was island perfection. We can’t wait to return.

Please can the hotel sort out the very slippery tiles around the pool, we saw several people.Dinnner service in the evening was slow although the food when it arrived was fantastic.

Perfect place to relax in luxury
Pros:

We had a lovely time. There was a mixup at check in with our reservation and the staff was quick to accommodate us. They made us feel welcome and went went above and beyond to make it work for us which we appreciated. The hotel is beautiful and a perfect place to relax by a private beach. The food is the best food we’ve had in the BVIs. The pool is beautiful and the cabanas to relax on are luxurious. The view from our room was beautiful, we could see the ocean and sunset. We would definitely return but just keep in mind the rooms are only made for two people. Only other thing to note is the roosters crow at 4am, but it adds to the island vibe :)
