H10 Raco del Pi

To access this nice little hotel, you will need to be dropped off and walk into the neighborhood for a couple minutes as the streets around it are pedestrian only (except for service vehicles, etc.) Our family had three rooms on the fourth floor during the Christmas season, and it served us well. The hotel is renovating so the dining area is closed off, and construction sounds begun at 9 am or later which was completely reasonable imo.

The location for a group of first timers to Barcelona was excellent. It was easy to access morning coffee and pastries, la rambla, the boqueria, the metro, Christmas markets, local atisan market, and several plaças within footsteps- it felt like access to everything was no more than ten minutes away. The helpful staff were able to schedule taxis for our large group to pick up at the front door of the hotel, but I can't imagine this is possible in the high tourist season.

We stayed here for a long weekend and I can tell you that this little hotel is a gem. The Location is ideal for all the sights and the staff made it such a lovely stay away. I have to give a special mention to the two lads on reception Joan and Raymond they’re so helpful and friendly. Also a special mention to the two ladies at breakfast Mamen and Ritchel also very friendly and the breakfast was lovely, a great start to the day. If we ever get back to Barcelona this would be my choice of hotel.

This was our second stay at this small and perfectly located Barcelona hotel, and we have booked it for a return visit next year. It is just close enough to the hub bub of Las Ramblas, but still on a quiet street away from the madding crowd in the Bari Gothic neighborhood. The metro is close by, as are a variety of nice restaurants and cafes. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was generous and beautifully served.

A four-story hotel with a small front but inside very attractive and comfortable. On a narrow street in the Barri Gotic, it is near great restaurants, the ancient and medieval sights around the Cathedral, and is a short walk to the opera house and the Liceu metro stop. In spite of the central location it is perfectly quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The ladies working in the breakfast room (Medita and Ritchel) were wonderful as were the people at the front desk. Very clean and price quite reasonable. My highest recommendation.

Nice place. Perfect location. Great value for the money. There was some sound from the street in the nights though. Not a problem for me but worth considering if you are sensitive. But I am quite sure this is the case for all hotels in this area

The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful staff offered a lovely welcome and speaking excellent English. We were offered a fabulously renovated room with a huge bed, fantastic shower, excellent quality. All areas were clean and well presented.

discovering the Barcelona center on foot.

We visited the H10 Raco Del Pi early November to miss the crowds and the really hot weather. However we were given some amazing autumn temperatures and even at this time of year, Barcelona is still very well visited.

On arrival we were greeted by a very professional reception team, together with a glass of Cava. Very well versed in dealing with first time visitors and relieving us of the obligatory Tourist Tax, we were on our way up to the third floor and our double room, very quickly.

The room was very well presented, clean and neatly laid out. A mini bar, safe and Tv (but not very smart one) were some of the first things noticed. The ensuite looked very good too, complete with a Bidet. The bed was very comfortable and the room perfectly sized for a base from which to explore Barcelona.

With the Hotel in the Gothic quarter, with its narrow streets and tall 3-4 storey properties, we found ourselves over looking a very small gated side street. Due to the warm weather we found the window was best left open to allow a comfortable nights sleep. With the Hotel being very well cited it was a great place to explore all parts of Barcelona.
We must point out at this point that we are English and come with our normal English expectations. The breakfast bar offered a substantial continental style of breakfast. With the addition of cooked eggs in the form of fried, scrambled or omelette. But this was good enough to set us up for a full day of exploring and with the many eateries in the city, allowed us to make the most of the Spanish and Catalonian cuisine.

Hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free coffee and pastries available during the afternoon.

A couple of niggles : the city location and architecture of the buildings does lend itself to noisy nights, and because we left the window open this didn't aid sleep. Also the fan in the bathroom was on all the time (not just when the light goes on) and to be fair we didn't check if this was by design but in the night it did interfere with our sleeping, we found that if we closed the window, and removed the room card from the "plug" the electric turned off after a couple of minutes and this solved both the problems. These are mentioned in no way to put you off but more to inform you of how to easily over come little niggles.

This hotel is perfectly situated to explore Barcelona and the staff were all so pleasant and helpful. We stayed in a newly renovated room but unfortunately there was a problem with our shower drain and our bathroom flooded as a result. Maintenance were up to fix the problem right away and we had no further issues. Thank you to Medita and Mamen for great breakfast service and helping me practise my Spanish!

Perfect location in the Gothic Quarter — so close to sites, tapa bars, shops, and exploring the back streets. The hotel is comfortable, all the staff are friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Raymond at the front desk in the evenings and Medita & Ritchel taking great care of guests during breakfast.

Staying here made my experience visiting Barcelona so enjoyable.
Nothing to fault. Location, friendliness of staff, rooms clean, beds comfy great night's sleep.
Breakfast tasty and plenty of choice.
I would def book again and hope to return to this fabulous city.

Hotel is well located and close to all major Barcelona attractions. Restaurant was amazing and our server Medita and our chef Ritchel gave us the best breakfast with fresh food and out standing service.

We loved this small hotel on a pedestrian street in the old city. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and the daily breakfast included a wonderful array of choices. The staff (shoutout to Alvaro!) were consistently helpful. Would for sure stay here again.

Stayed 3 nights in mid-October. Hôtel is very well located in the heart of the old city. Room was modern, very comfortable, clean and good temperature control. Breakfast was very well done with prompt and helpful staff. Front desk welcoming and also helpful. We would definitely stay again !

This is a nice hotel with comfortably sized rooms. Rooms were clean and well appointed.
The front desk staff was very professional and courteous.
I am acknowledging Raymond who worked the front desk. He went above and beyond assisting us with getting out transportation from the hotel to the Barcelona pier.He spent a great deal of time on this issue and ultimately helped us find alternate transportation
The hotel is in the Gothic district of Barcelona. There is easy access to restaurants, shopping and sightseeing.
I would definitely stay here again
