Shocked before we even checked in to see the GREEN pool and instantly thought to turn around and cancel our reservation. Especially after a 95 degree day a pool was a way for us to relax. DISAPPOINTED!!
But since it was already paid on my card we decided to give it a chance.
Instantly stepping into room 119, we tried to turn on lights and There were 2 light bulbs that were burnt out and 2 lamps didn’t even have bulbs in or were in working order. Husband instantly went to get light bulbs. Turned on the lights and noticed that the floor didn’t even look swept. After a 5 hour car ride we stepped into the bathroom and noticed mold and filth all around the shower and ceiling. Decided then and there that we weren’t going to shower and just head home in the morning(Also was only 2 Bath towels and weren’t going to go ask again.)
Instantly wanted to get outta the room so we went for dinner.
Came back and sitting on the chair my daughter found an ant crawling on her leg. I checked the seat cushion and found chips and ALOT of crumbs down on the seat and laying under the cushion, 🤢, but just told her “you walked in from outside so you might have gotten it outside!”
Surprised the TV worked so we laid in bed and watched some TV before bed. Husband found an ant crawling on his arm in bed and kept it a secret from me and my daughter till morning.
In the morning… I used the bathroom and saw ants crawling in the shower, on the floor, and in the sink. Went back out to. Heck the bed and there were ants in the bed and all over the night stand! They were in my mom’s straw of her Stanley cup and inside the cup on the night stand. And then we spotted the and trap under the air conditioner unit. I CANT BELIEVE YOU KNEW YOU HAD ANTS IN THAT ROOM AND STILL PUT US IN THAT ROOM! UNACCEPTABLE AND WANT A FULL REFUND!
