Location was ideal for walking everywhere. All the staff were so friendly & helpful. Wonderfully comfy beds. Very clean. Food was good although limited choice & for some reason, served on very cold plates!?!
Food was served on cold plates. We were there for Christmas & it was very cold. The heating in the rooms could not cope with the cold.
Good breakfast. Lovely feel to the building. The garage is necessary.
Evening meal quite basic. Easy to get lost in the hotel.....loads of corridors and levels
My idea of heaven! Gorgeous old building, with antique furniture, paintings and mirrors everywhere so you have the impression of staying in a [very comfortable] museum. I had a huge, comfortable and quiet room. It's a pleasant 10minute stroll to the main centre, where there are lots of bars, restaurants and old buildings to visit. Don't miss the Fondacion Rafael Alberti -- the family home of the poet who was a friend of Bunuel, Lorca, Salvador Dali & others
1. The decor felt slightly "tired" but still very comfortable overall
2. PLEASE PUT A KETTLE AND SOME COFFEES, TEAS & HERB TEAS IN THE ROOMS! The cafeteria downstairs isn't always open and I would really expect a four-star like this to provide these: thankyou!
a beautiful hotel that has a lovely feel and where they have retained many of the original monastery features. The room was excellent with a balcony and a view. The room was cleaned each day to a good standard.
Only a buffet breakfast is available. Although we had paid for breakfast upfront, we only had breakfast one morning. If you want a continental breakfast, then there was a good selection; however, the cooked breakfast was not of a good standard, and a poor selection. No food or snacks are available in the evenings, and whilst bars and restaurants are within a short walk, it would have been nice to have eaten in the hotel.
