Categories

Cleanliness
8.6
Multiple guests consistently reported rooms as very clean, but several reviews cited mildew/damp smells and wet carpets in some rooms, which lowered this score slightly.
Service
9.4
Staff repeatedly described as friendly, quick at check-in, and accommodating (including going above and beyond for a surprise engagement), supporting a strong service score.
Location
9.3
Frequently noted as convenient and close to the university and local venues, making location a clear strength.
Room Quality
8.7
Rooms were described as beautiful, well-stocked, and beds very comfortable, but issues such as a noisy couch and shower curtain causing bathroom flooding reduced the rating.
Amenities
9.2
Breakfast was praised repeatedly and a sauna was mentioned as a nice bonus; pool was available though one guest noted it could be warmer.
Value for Money
8.5
Most guests were satisfied, but at least one noted disappointment with higher-than-normal rates during a college graduation weekend, slightly lowering perceived value.
Food and Beverage
9.6
Breakfast/free breakfast received consistent positive mentions (described as very nice and having anything you could want), indicating a strong F&B offering.
Overall Experience
8.7
Overall sentiment is positive with many guests saying they'd stay again and praising cleanliness and staff; a few recurring problems (damp/mildew, shower curtain, noisy couch) temper an otherwise strong overall experience.

Pros:

Great breakfast and location to the University.

Cons:

Our room smelled like mildew and felt damp. My son walked around the room in his socks and soon they were black. We did not remove our shoes in the room.

Overall a good stay
Pros:

The hotel was very accommodating

Cons:

The shower curtain in the room was less than ideal. It had to be in the exact right position or you would flood the bathroom during a shower.

Pros:

Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly.

Cons:

The room rates were higher than normal due to it being college graduation weekend & we booked months in advance. That was disappointing.
