Pros:

Nach meiner Buchung wurde ich vom Hotel gefragt, ob ich ein Upgrade incl. Parknutzung gegen einen Aufpreis wählen möchte. Ich habe verneint, fragte ab nach einer Vergünstigung beim Parken. Dem konnte nicht entsprochen werden. Beim Betreten des Zimmers nach meiner Anreise stellte ich fest, dass mir überraschenderweise ein Zimmerupgrade geschenkt wurde. Tolle Geste.

Wir haben für nächstes Jahr wieder gebucht allerdings ein anderes Hotel. Es gibt Fotos von den Aufnahmen mit dem Bagger

Ich kenne die Unterkunft schon er hat nur noch die Lage gefallen

Cons:

Vor unserem Zimmer war direkt eine Baustelle 2 m von uns entfernt. Als Kompensation lagen Ohrstöpsel auf dem Bett. Es wurde vorher eine Mail versendet, wo der Hinweis dran stand. Achtung Baustelle. Die Zimmer haben das doppelte zu 2024 gekostet. Auch auf der Booking Seite angeblich ein Foto mit der Baustelle.
Wir haben im März reserviert somit hab ich gar nicht mehr nachgekuckt. Unter den Umständen hätte ich umgehend die Reise storniert. Wir hatten vier Zimmer und waren fünf Leute. Somit konnten wir nicht am Tag der Anreise ein neues Hotel finden.
Die Leitung hat sich noch nicht Mals die Mühe gemacht, uns entgegen zu kommen, wobei es mir auch nicht inhaltlich darum ging ein Frühstück umsonst zu bekommen oder wie auch immer. Über einen Gutschein oder Gutschrift. Für das nächste Jahr hätte ich mich allerdings gefreut. Es war kein Entgegenkommen, und es war auch nicht gerade freundlich. Ich wurde eher belächelt. Dieses Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und ist viel zu teuer. Im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels. Das Haus Keeping Assi Zimmer Damm waren sehr nett. Auf die lass ich nichts kommen.

An outdated hotel. There were very few power outlets in the room. The hotel restaurant was not open to us; it was hosting a party for outside guests. When we booked, the website stated that the hotel had private parking but did not mention that there was a fee. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay €24.50 per night for parking. We pointed out to the receptionist that the website did not state there was a charge, yet we were still billed for it. I now see that the website has been updated following our complaint to indicate that parking is a paid service.

Pros:

Breakfast as usual at Var der Valk hotels was excellent. In happy hour time we had delicious oysters. And good wine.

Cons:

Booking.com did not advise about construction site and we had to upgrade our room. The hotel was very good about it but a pity Booking.com was not more clear and transparent

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour de 4 jours dans cet hôtel 4 étoiles et avons malgré tout passé de très bons moments. 😊
Nous souhaitons toutefois partager un petit point qui nous a déçus : notre chambre n’a pas été nettoyée pendant toute la durée du séjour. On nous a expliqué que cela était dû à un manque de personnel, notamment en raison du grand nombre de départs et de l’arrivée de nouveaux clients.
Nous avons également rencontré une mauvaise odeur persistante dans les WC. Après l’avoir signalée, seulement les WC ont été nettoyés une fois. L’odeur était alors moins forte, mais elle a malheureusement persisté.
Pour le savon, le papier toilette et les serviettes, nous avons pu nous servir nous-mêmes lorsqu’on en voyait dans le couloir.
Nous comprenons les difficultés liées au manque de personnel et nous avons tout de même apprécié notre séjour et passé de bons moments. 😊 Nous espérons simplement que ce point pourra être amélioré à l’avenir, car pour un hôtel 4 étoiles, nous nous attendions à un minimum d’entretien quotidien de la chambre.
Cela reste donc une expérience globalement agréable, avec simplement un service de chambre qui pourrait être amélioré.
