Great for an overnight stay. Comfortable bed, great breakfast, staff lovely. Nice to find a large(ish), well appointed travel hotel sympathetically designed to reflect local architecture.
The bathroom looked great and was nice and clean, but the slightly damaged toilet seat needs replacing and the shower fitting didn’t stay put (although the ‘rain’ option worked fine). Just minor niggles really.
The hotel has an excellent location, which allows us to explore the many charming sights in the surrounding area. The staff are extremely friendly. We had a great experience with dinner, which was delicious. We’ll definitely be back next time
Clean and comfortable room. Good but not great buffet breakfast. Excellent and helpful staff.
Breakfast was good not great. Scrambled eggs and bacon should have been cooked more personal preference.
Location, plenty of free parking, breakfast was a good choice of hot and cold food, on the whole the staff were polite and helpful. The bed was big and very comfortable.
It's the only hotel that we have stayed in that didn't have a lift. There was lots of stairs and hallways. The room numbers were all over the place. There was not enough signs directing you back to the reception. The bedroom was no better than the Premier Inn room that we stayed in recently. That room was £100 per night cheaper. The bathroom had a large walk in shower, but the toilet was very tight to the wall and you had to shut the door before you sat down. The reception could have had more staff on as it was very busy Saturday night when we checked in and only 1 staff member. We asked the receptionist if we could change rooms as there was too many stairs for my wife as she has blood clots on her lungs which makes her out of breath easily. Both me and my wife waited at the reception patiently while the receptionist made us wait until she had served everyone, including a man who came down after us also wanting to change rooms. We both felt that it was deliberate. My wife asked for a pimms drink and it arrived with no fruit. We've never had that before.
The hotel was welcoming and fairly priced
The breakfast room was so hot
Brilliant staff. Made the stay very enjoyable!
Fantastic
Great location for exploring the Cotswolds. 10 mins drive to Blenheim palace. Very comfy bed and the staff were really polite and helpful. They provided a travel cot for our baby to sleep in.
Brilliant location for friends in Steeple Aston, easy to reach
Barely enough parking spaces at night with the Austin Martin convention!
