Never again motel 6
Pros:

Upon arrival, checked in and was given a key card. Went up to my room and found somebody already in that room. That person was very upset that he was bothered. Went back downstairs and was given a second key card. Got a new room, that room had very dirty sheets, tons of stains, window in room did not lock properly.

Cons:

Staff could do better by knowing who is in what room and when. Housekeeping can also use some improvement.

Single night stay 248 bucks in a smoking room as a non smoker was crap

Only available room was a smoking room which stank of smoke and had burns on quilted spread and toilet seat lid

Pros:

The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Definitely our favorite Motel 6 in San Diego.

Pros:

The bed was comfortable, the fridge convenient, and the a/c worked well. The proximity to the border worked well for us as we had to return the car to the border and take a flight to return to Mexico.

Cons:

It's obvious that some time ago there were major improvements to the property; however, it's time for routine maintenance (paint touchup, in particular) to be done.

Pros:

everything was fine. Twi small issues 1. The mattress would not stay in place on the frame. please make sure the mattress is secure. 2. The shower need a shelf and rack to put your bottle of body wash and shampoos along with a hand towel rack.
The room was roomy.

Clean and Safe Motel 6
Pros:

This Motel 6 was clean, safe and spacious. It wasn't rundown and there weren't shady people lurking nearby,(which happened on my previous two Motel 6 stays.) So I was pleasantly surprised. I saw families this time. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Although the motel is near the freeway, I couldn't hear any noise.

Cons:

The internet was a bit slow and the pillows were too thick.
