Pros:

location is great for downtown eats and entertainment. Sauna is perfect for tossin' in a patio chair and feeling like a king without a queen.
Front desk staff are super-helpful. Jorelisse sets up a perfect stay with her helpful suggestions of things to do in Buffalo and handles my numerous issues with patience and expertise.

Dissatisfied and disappointed. The whole thing could have and should have been handled better.
Pros:

The main hall getting to our room was filled with equipment (dealing with water damage)that was very loud. The breakfast area had the same issue which caused us to leave without having breakfast. We were very disappointed that we weren’t advised of the problem ahead of booking and that we were charged over $300 for our one night stay.

Cons:

When we arrived, we were not informed of a water problem or the noisy environment that we were going to encounter. There was no mention of the problem extending to the breakfast area either. Had we known, we would have chosen a different place especially since there was no reduction in our rate. Being a Hilton Honors member apparently doesn’t mean much.

A Great Hotel for a Buffalo Visit
Pros:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perfect stay for Buffalo Marathon weekend! The Hampton Inn Buffalo Downtown is literally right at the start line, which made race morning completely stress-free. We could even watch the runners from the hotel — such an amazing atmosphere and energy throughout the weekend.
The rooms were HUGE, super clean, and incredibly comfortable, which was exactly what we needed before and after the race. The staff and service were outstanding — everyone was friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience feel welcoming from check-in to check-out.
The location is unbeatable for marathon weekend, with plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby. Breakfast was great, the hotel was quiet despite the busy event weekend, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations.
Highly recommend for anyone running the Buffalo Marathon or visiting downtown Buffalo. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Great location, best staff
Pros:

My first time to Buffalo NY and the Hampton Inn Downtown was fantastic! It's in a great location, walking distance to great places to eat, amazing architecture, and nice attractions. Jorilesse greeted me on arrival, got me checked in, and offered great recommendations for local food. As a longtime Hilton member, Jorelisse was an absolute stand out and easily among the very best that I've seen at any hotel regardless of price.

Amazing Service and great property
Pros:

Great hotel. Service is the best. When I arrived at 10 am after a super early flight the front desk took my cell and called me when my room was ready (local coffee shop across street). They did this without ne askjng. Also Miguel at front desk so helpful and friendly able to get me parking for a coworker coming to the hotel fir a few hours. Great location walk to great restaurants etc. Rooms very big and clean. Absolutely recommend this hotel to all
