Could be Better
Pros:

This hotel was situated in very nice location, not too far of a walk from the main village and mini fun fair and park for families.

Cons:

I booked a double room and was initially accommodated on the ground floor. However, I had to relocate to another room due to a faulty door, which was inconvenient.

There were a few small but noticeable issues during my stay. For example, there were no power outlets beside the bed, making it difficult to charge a phone overnight. Additionally, despite being informed that a “Do Not Disturb” sign would be available to communicate with housekeeping, none was provided. As a result, we were disturbed by knocks on the door on mornings when we had hoped for privacy.

The walls were also very thin, and noise from other guests could be heard clearly from across the hallway, which impacted the overall comfort of the stay.

To make matters worse, on Easter Sunday, the kitchen was closed in the evening without warning, leaving guests without any dining options in the hotel!!! Had chips for dinner!! Absolutely insane for it's price.

Wouldn’t return
Pros:

We really didn’t have a great experience with the Stourport Manor at all, enough to say we won’t be returning again. Right from the off I should have known we were going to have a bad experience. We wanted to book the Easter Sunday funday and carvery. I purposely rang before booking to find out the carvery times so I knew if I needed to feed my baby before hand, they didn’t have a clue and told me to email…. So I did, I got a reply 2 days later to say it was all ok and I could go with whatever time worked for us, so I went ahead and booked. In total I have received an astonishing 21 emails since then. Some saying I owe money (I paid in full with booking) some saying 6 people with 4 adults (my tickets clearly stated 2 adultss) various changes to the carvery time, despite me emailing before hand. All in all a total shambles! The fun dint end there….. we arrive at the time they stated….. not the time we asked for and not a single person at the desk! We waited for 15 minutes walking up and down, families in the same situation with no knowledge of what was going on. Even a worker was trying to get in and as there was no one at reception he couldn’t get through the door! The worker had to ring and wait for someone to come, someone that really didn’t seem busy in the slightest. We were told to take a seat and wait and honestly the unorganised chaos just continued. A total waste of time

Parking Fine
Pros:

I attended a Christmas party on 07/12/2025. My daughter picked me up and unfortunately received a parking ticket. She was only there 15 minutes. She spoke to the Stourport Manor directly and they said they would sort it out, which they did not. She has now received a fine for £155!!!!!! Which i have had to pay, expensive taxi home as i only live in Kidderminster. Will not be visiting there again and will let as many people know about the parking fine system. It is absolutely disgusting as you would not use the car park unless you were using their facilities. Money for nothing, maybe they could use the money to repair the car park numerous potholes. Do not visit this hotel it could be quite costly.

Good experience in Stourport
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel as a base whilst attending a music festival in the town, which is a good, healthy walk down (up on return) a hill, so perfect for some exercise.

I think it is fair to say that this hotel might have seen better days a while ago. It certainly cannot be described as a luxury residence, but it is a perfectly adequate one for a stay.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. The maid service is excellent to top up morning essentials. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts, which have clearly been sourced well from local produce.

The staff are helpful and polite. The bar staff were very friendly, and I did have a decent enough dinner on Saturday early evening. A pie, which was fine for what I wanted. It is clearly not cordon bleu, and I did overhear the bar staff informing a couple that there was no steak available (not good), but it was fine for what I wanted. The bar itself has a nice range of drinks - I enjoyed a very pleasant glass of wine with my meal and before retiring on Sunday night.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel and will certainly be happy to stay again when I return to this particular music festival.

Successful Musical Event
Pros:

We have been running Members Musical Breaks for enthusiasts of music performed on electronic organs, pianos and keyboards for many years and have just returned from our event at The Stourport Manor Hotel.
This will be the 10th event that we have held there since the hotel changed ownership in 2022 and over that period we have seen many improvements in the ways they have met our requirements.
I can honestly say that our time there last week was the best event so far, no effort was spared in doing all that was necessary in making our event totally successful.
Our 40+ guests were very complimentary about their rooms, the quality of the food and the friendliness of all the staff and it was a great pleasure as organiser for me to deal with the Group & Event Sales Executive, Louise Dunbar and her on-site representative Niamh.
We look forward to our two further events this year and our three booked for next year.

Ok, shower could be better
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful

Cons:

The shower has absolutely no pressure, takes z5 times longer to shower with the way the water drips out of the shower head. Water savings to the extreme where they thinks better not to bathe!

A bit disappointing
Pros:

The bed and stores are close by if you're driving.

Cons:

It wasn’t as modern as I expected based on the photos online. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use the pool at all during our stay as it had chemicals in it the entire time. We were also informed that there was an additional £5 per person charge to use the pool, which was disappointing as swimming pool access is usually included when staying at a hotel.
