Disappointing
Pros:

Rooms were clean but tired. Hard to find any staff anywhere. Everywhere seemed empty & soulless. Grounds unkempt. Disappointing visit. Booked for 2 nights but did not stay for the 2nd night.

Our stay was good and we didn't expect much more having done some research beforehand
Pros:

Room comfy but hot due to weather mainly. Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast excellent. Social rooms and bar area comfy.

Cons:

Shower tricky to use and would have been troublesome for more elderly person. No evening meal due to either staff not being available or only a few in the hotel at the time.

Cons:

Showers not great. Spa closed early on Saturday and Sunday. AC would be welcome. Road surface at entrance needs attention.

Comfortable overnight stay.
Pros:

We stayed one night and didn’t use the bar, restaurant or spa facilities.
Receptionists were polite and helpful.
There were ample parking spaces.
The room was clean and the beds comfortable. There were tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and trouser press and hairdryer. The bathroom was okay, however the shower controls were stiff and difficult to manage.
The outdoor temperature was very warm and although a fan was provided, the temperature in the room was oppressive so would definitely benefit from the installation of air conditioning in the bedroom.
There were ample electric points but no USB sockets for recharging electronic devices.
Overall our stay was a positive experience, but can only comment on the standard of our twin room as we didn’t use any other facilities.

The room was very comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities. Toiletries in bathroom. Iron and ironing board and trouser press. Adequate hanging space for a short stay. No air con but fan was provided and window opened a few inches to help with airflow.

Cons:

The bathroom. Shower on/off adjustment clunky. Hard to turn shower control. Needs attention.
Due to heatwave, air con would have been appreciated.

Disappointing, overpriced being operated on minimal staff, whole place is very tired and in need of refurb.

Even though I explained I was elderly and had a heavy suitcase, I was given a room in the attic up 3 flights of very steep stairs (rm73). None of the staff were willing to help with this. On arrival there were no staff, ANYWHERE! There was a phone and a message saying call for assistance. No one answered after 15 mins of calling.

Very warm welcome at reception and a good chat , room is spacious and clean yes could do with a lick of paint but nice bed and powerful shower.
