Good experience in Stourport
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel as a base whilst attending a music festival in the town, which is a good, healthy walk down (up on return) a hill, so perfect for some exercise.

I think it is fair to say that this hotel might have seen better days a while ago. It certainly cannot be described as a luxury residence, but it is a perfectly adequate one for a stay.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. The maid service is excellent to top up morning essentials. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts, which have clearly been sourced well from local produce.

The staff are helpful and polite. The bar staff were very friendly, and I did have a decent enough dinner on Saturday early evening. A pie, which was fine for what I wanted. It is clearly not cordon bleu, and I did overhear the bar staff informing a couple that there was no steak available (not good), but it was fine for what I wanted. The bar itself has a nice range of drinks - I enjoyed a very pleasant glass of wine with my meal and before retiring on Sunday night.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel and will certainly be happy to stay again when I return to this particular music festival.

Successful Musical Event
Pros:

We have been running Members Musical Breaks for enthusiasts of music performed on electronic organs, pianos and keyboards for many years and have just returned from our event at The Stourport Manor Hotel.
This will be the 10th event that we have held there since the hotel changed ownership in 2022 and over that period we have seen many improvements in the ways they have met our requirements.
I can honestly say that our time there last week was the best event so far, no effort was spared in doing all that was necessary in making our event totally successful.
Our 40+ guests were very complimentary about their rooms, the quality of the food and the friendliness of all the staff and it was a great pleasure as organiser for me to deal with the Group & Event Sales Executive, Louise Dunbar and her on-site representative Niamh.
We look forward to our two further events this year and our three booked for next year.

Ok, shower could be better
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful

Cons:

The shower has absolutely no pressure, takes z5 times longer to shower with the way the water drips out of the shower head. Water savings to the extreme where they thinks better not to bathe!

Sunday carvery
Pros:

Sunday carvery good value, generous portions, nicely cooked and friendly and attentive staff. We will be returning. Looking forward to the à la carte evening menu.

A bit disappointing
Pros:

The bed and stores are close by if you're driving.

Cons:

It wasn’t as modern as I expected based on the photos online. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use the pool at all during our stay as it had chemicals in it the entire time. We were also informed that there was an additional £5 per person charge to use the pool, which was disappointing as swimming pool access is usually included when staying at a hotel.

Perfect for our club AGM
Pros:

Had our club AGM here for the third year running. As usual, the Worcester suite was set up exactly as we instructed and thus perfect for our needs. The staff were all efficient and helpful. Highly recommend this venue for such events.

Don’t bother! Swimming pool always Closed!! and hotel Full of loud screaming foreigners! And rude big guy on reception!

Beautiful building from the outside

Cons:

The swimming pool was closed for the whole week we stayed there!.. and this was the only reason we chose this hotel!..

The 3 rooms next to us was full of people running in and out of the rooms and shouting and kids screaming in the corridor and playing loud music till early hours in the morning!!!

The big guy on reception was abrupt and not helpful or welcoming at all!!

We were also considering it for a wedding venue but we will Never stay there again!!!

Travelodge is 5 minutes away so just stay there guys cus that’s all you get at this hotel!

Simple, clean and a good night's sleep. Swimming pool a nice bonus. Would stay again.
Pros:

Nice swimming pool available for a small extra charge.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Plenty of parking.
Very large bed (double room) and extra comfortable bedding.
Everything perfectly clean.

Cons:

Shower space very narrow with curtain.
Sound of rainwater dripping onto the roof during the night (room 56)
Decor in communal areas a little basic- would benefit from a refresh.

Fantastic mini break
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful Afternoon Tea, set up by a roaring fire. Every item was delicious with a tasty variety of sandwiches, the best scones we have ever had, and lovely cakes and mini puds.
The whole hotel stay was brilliant and the staff were helpful and friendly.
