Everything was above and beyond!

This hotel advertises itself as 5 stars but feels far from it. Customer service is slow and impersonal, and the place is chaotic and overcrowded with no sense of personalized experience. Definitely not worth the price or the rating. I left disappointed and frustrated. This hotel fails to deliver on the luxury it promises and should not be listed as 5 stars. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a genuine high-end experience to look elsewhere.

Fantastic hotel, pool and facilities. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Only downside is there never seemed to be enough sunbeds and despite the hotels ‘no reserve’ policy the usual early race for the towels on the bed was rife

Everything was perfect and the food was outstanding!

The facility was first class. It was stress free providing plenty of relaxing options. Pools were fantastic.

Very beautiful, well maintained hotel. The staff are very friendly, they do their best to help or point you in the right direction. Pools were clean, warm and not too crowded. The food (breakfast) had a wide variety and was kept warm.

Great stay. Only issue I have is with the sunbeds and the lack of them. Have to be up early to get them otherwise left with very few to pick from

The hotel is very big but very attractive with wonderful location beside the sea and very attractive grounds and pools. I wasn't keen on the daily entertainment and this was loud in my room but at least didn't go on beyond 11pm. Huge spread at breakfast buffet but cooked items bit tepid. Didn't think they should charge for parking.

Our room was beautiful, with a balcony and stunning view of a pool under us. There was a huge pool with a lazy river, waterfall and bar, where we had our lunch every day. The beach/infinity pool was just breathtaking. Breakfast was lovely, so much choice. Beach is a 5 minute walk and some nice shops on the door step.

Hotel & staff were amazing!!!

Only 1 dissatisfaction is having to wait so long to check in or for any assistance at the front desk reception.

Having to stand in line for up to 30 minutes to be checked-in, is in my view unacceptable.

Can they not find a better way in which to wait to be seen? Even if it’s a number system, then at least we can SIT & wait rather than STAND for so long.

Reception is our 1st experience of the hotel and so doesn’t set a good 1st impression.

Trying to gain assistance from reception was always a long wait on the phones or in person waiting in line.

That said, my stay was amazing shame about the lack of staff on Reception.

My 3rd stay in 8 months should tell you everything. Stunning hotel probably one of the best 5* hotels in Gran Canaria. Room is big clean and decor is beautiful. I will stay again just not too sure when. I would certainly recommend Lopesan Costa Melonares 100 percent.

La propiedad está muy limpia bonita con buena ubicación cerca de tiendas y restaurantes,lo que no me gustó es que pasamos calor el aire en los cuartos no enfriaba y en las noches pasamos calor,el técnico fue lo revisó pero seguimos con el mismo calor

Beautiful looking hotel, and some of the best pools and gardens I have seen. Hotel was immaculate inside and out and rooms specious and nicely decored. Unfortunately the size of the hotel and the mediocre sevice stop it from being the luxury resort its trying to be. Service and staff while efficient were unfriendly and a little cold. Dining was disappointing for the level of hotel and food fairly run of the mill. Its a very good four star hotel but other hotels around it put it in the shade when it comes to service sadly.
