Comfort Suites Northlake

Our room needed a good dusting. The shower did not properly drain. When I booked our stay it was noted that there would be four people, two adults and two kids. No extra blankets or towels were in the room and we had to request them. The breakfast was very bland. Almost no flavor to anything, had us questioning if we had COVID.

The staff was very rude and my room had bed bugs and I changed rooms asked to come check the new room and spray and they didn’t and was very rude about it me and my son slept on the couch I went to make a complaint and choice hotels customer service and the hotel lied and said I had a good stay there

I did not receive any sheets for the third bed, which was the main reason I made this booking. I had to go downstairs to request pillows, sheets, and toilet paper. Additionally, the sink was clogged. Please take a moment to check the number of fingerprints on the microwave and consider how long it has been since anyone thought to clean it.

There was a smell once you walked it. I did not get a warm welcome. The lady seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She did not give me no direction. We had to figure out where everything was located like the pool, elevator etc. I had to change rooms because my first room the bedding wasn’t clean. And only one elevator worked.

Could tell the hotel was old. The iron leaked and the ironing board was broken.

The bed could’ve been bolted to the floor and the toilet is loud that could’ve been fixed and painted off the walls.

Need more options at breakfast

One of the workers named Patricia was extremely rude to us yelling at my kids saying they weren’t allowed to pour their own cereal. I was STANDING BESIDE My 10 year old daughter as she was making a bowl of cereal when Patricia came from the kitchen telling her “stop” she wasn’t allowed to pour her own cereal and my son who was standing beside us was told to move so she could get in front of the cereal dispenser. She ruined breakfast for us. When another lady tried to get cereal and accidentally spilled some she said “it says pull slowly” in an aggravated nasty tone to which the customer replied “I did pull slowly”. Patricia seems to have a problem with people using the cereal dispenser and her attitude ruins the morning.

The breakfast was not as good as the reviews made it seem. The only hot foods were eggs and sausage patties. No variety of bread/ bagels to choose from and no fruits or yogurt were available. The lack of options was actually disappointing.

The room felt warm and stuffy. The ac was blowing but you could only feel it by the bed that was beside the unit.

This is the second time I have stayed over night and hair was in the bathroom. My sheets didn't appear to be clean because their were crumbs on the sheets.

The only thing I didn’t like is that we requested housekeeping twice and they never came, so we had to take our own trash and get our own refills of toilet tissue and towels. The young lady that spoke to at the front desk did apologize because the housekeepers had checked off that they cleaned our room and never did.
