A good location with many restaurants close by and not too far to walk to the ropeway to go up to the castle. The tram stop was also very close by

Perfect location to explore the Art Islands. Walk to almost everything you need. Comfortable beds

We enjoyed 4 night our stay at JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu. The location was super convenient - a short walk from the train station and to the ferry terminals. We used this hotel as a base to visit the Art Islands - Naoshima and Teshima. The room was large, clean, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We had a view of the water and the lovely park opposite with a traditional teahouse which is also worth visiting. Ritsurin Gardens are also beautiful - we just caught a taxi there.

The view of the port and Takamatsu Castle was amazing and the hotel was beautiful!!

Wonderful comfortable place to stay with access to the art island ferries just a short walk away

Fantastic stay at the high-end JR Clement Takamatsu
Pros:

Great location just opposite the Takamatsu rail and bus stations. Comfortable bed. Nice bed linens. Very nice bathroom and shower. Comfy pajamas (we even bought some upon departure!). We didn’t purchase breakfast there, so can’t comment on that.

Cons:

There really wasn’t anything to dislike.
