Holiday Inn Express & Suites Albermarle by IHG

The elevator didn't work or was so slow it was easier taking the steps... even with a bum knee.

The good: Check in in the evening was great, with a friendly staff member. Easy parking. Area was quiet and seemed safe. Facilities were in good shape and clean.
The bad: No working exhaust fan in the bathroom. Morning staff members were just hanging out talking to each other. There were 3 at the entrance and acted like they were other guests. They were getting their own coffee, so I had to wait in line behind them. I looked towards the desk as I left and said "have a good day" and only one looked up and just said "thanks".
Overall- very nice and I would recommend.

The staff was not helpful at all, they told us the elevator was slow but that was an understatment, it kept getting stuck on the second floor so I would have to take the stairs to push the button so my 77 year old mom could get on the elevator, then on the last day when it was time to take all of our luggage out to the car the elevator was out of order!!! I walked down the stairs with what luggage I could manage and asked the front desk if there was anyone that could help me with the rest so I could help my mom down the stairs, she looked at me like really!!! And the. Proceeded to tell me I’m the only one here so no I can’t help you. This place is a crap hole and the only reason people stay here is because they have to. There are no other options in the area and it shows that they know that and don’t care!!! I will stay in charlotte and drive there next time to have a better place to stay it would be worth it !!!

Only used the hotel to sleep in for two nights and everything was good except for two nights in a row the fire alarm went on early in the morning. I’m planning to stay again soon. Thanks

We've stayed twice. Both times we've been put into the wheelchair accessible rooms. Both having issues... this last stay the shower was disgusting. Visible mold in the floor and growing up the walls. The shower was almost unusable. There was no soap. The bed was comfortable. But it noisy there. You can hear all the people walking around above you. We will not be staying here again.

Our stay was great and staff were friendly and helpful.

The elevator was extremely slow. We only used the elevator to move our luggage; we used the stairs to come and go from our room. Also, the bathtub had no anti-slip devices. It had plenty of grab bars which we appreciated but we had to put the bath mat in the tub when we showered to prevent slipping.

It was a good stay for one night and I would do it again. The fitness room is missing a few sets of the dumbbells but everything else was very nice!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn Express, Albermarle and I can confidently say it was a great experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality, making me feel right at home.
The room was spacious, and clean. The amenities were good, especially the pool, which the kids loved.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet. The variety of options was impressive, and everything was delicious! The hotel is located near restaurants and shops, another huge benefit. I would stay again.

Very well maintained. The check in was fast as the front desk lady was pleasent when i atrived at 3 pm. I went to the room and noticed no coffee maker but the coffee and tea pods were in the room so went down to the front desk to ask about it. It must have been shift change because A different lady was now there and said she would get one when she is not busy but never did. Also it has a beautiful outdoor pool but we weren't able to use it because the second lady locked the gate at 5 pm.

It was a very nice hotel and the location is excellent

We stayed overnight in this property and we liked how clean the facility was, the staff on duty were pleasant and professional. We liked the complimentary breakfast too, the staff assigned ensured that the food was well-supplied! I highly recommend this property!

My husband, mom, and I only stayed for one night, but check-in/out was very easy and quick. The complimentary breakfast was really good as well. Overall we had a very pleasant experience!

Everything about the hotel was good and next time I come back I’ll stay in at same hotel

The pool and breakfast were great. The room was not as clean on the floor like it has t been vacuumed and the carpet had a couple stains.

The place was okay except that the toilet would not flush. I notified them that morning and she said that they would fix it. We arrived back that evening and not only had they not fixed the toilet they also had not cleaned the room!
We had to pack all our stuff and move to another room.
I will not stay there again. This was not a cheap place to stay and we should have had better customer service.
