Staff was great, the location was excellent
The pillows smelled.
Spa was excellent. The pool. The bar.
Breakfast. Room was a bit far from the elevator for my wife.
A get away for my wife and I before the holidays. Also a dog friendly hotel close to shopping and restaurants
Excellent place to stay by the park walking distance to everything. The hotel provides a luxurious place to stay complete with a well appointed gym and amazing restaurant. Will make this part of our yearly tradition.
This was our second year in a row choosing Healdsburg Hotel for our holiday vacation. My partner and I love this place, the architecture, atmosphere and staff are amazing! The parking lot is small but the valets
are skilled and kind. Our complementary breakfast was also outstanding. The room was outstanding! Bed maybe the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a hotel. And the large tub in the bathroom, my partner and I enjoyed a very relaxing soak. We will be back!
This hotel has a fantastic location and is beautifully decorated for the holidays, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end for me. I’ve never written a review like this, but the service was truly disappointing—more like a budget motel than a four-star property. The front desk made us feel like a bother rather than a guest, and no amenities were ever explained or offered.
While the style of the hotel wasn’t exactly my preference, that wasn’t the issue. Our room was adequate (although noisy due to being on the square). It was the consistently poor service that left such a negative impression and ultimately made me really dislike the hotel overall. I would not recommend it despite its great setting.
The location is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean.
The parking is very inconvenient. The valet is free but swamped on the weekend. The fitness center is a joke on par with a small chain hotel. The continental breakfast was mediocre. I don’t know why they cannot put out some fresh pastries not massed produced meh. American hotels always get this wrong. And no doors on the shower is annoying. Water everywhere and get get it warm in there. Looks cool but impractical.
My family experienced a serious medical emergency last week when my husband required emergency appendix surgery.
While the hotel previously allowed me to postpone my reservation from July to December 31, 2025, due to a separate family emergency, they have now drawn a cold, hard line. I requested a minor extension into the first two weeks of January 2026 to accommodate his current recovery—a request backed by official medical documentation.
Their response was a flat refusal. When I tried to escalate, I was shut down with the quote: 'It does not matter as your credit can not be extended for any circumstance.'
For a high-cost hotel, this level of zero-compassion and refusal to grant a two-week grace period for a verifiable emergency is appalling. As Bay Area residents who frequently travel and work in major tech firms, we were shocked by this display of greed over humanity. Do not book here; their customer service is nonexistent when you truly need it, and the hotel is simply not worth the premium price."
Overall we had a really nice stay, but it’s impossible to recommend it given how expensive it was and what was included. The staff were all very nice and the location is great, but for what we paid we expected a LOT more. For $850/night all we got was a very sparse continental breakfast, a $2 packet of chips and a bag with some stale cookies. The hotel is in the heart of wine country and yet we weren't even given a bottle of wine, not even a cheap one. The complimentary breakfast was very limited and barely a step up from a holiday inn express who at least give toast and crappy bacon and sausages. $8 for two fried eggs is also absurd.
The room itself was comfortable and clean and mostly well appointed, although why there was only one sink in the bathroom when the vanity was probably 12’ long was bizarre.
It’s a nice hotel in a great location, but you can stay at other places for much less and get much more
To let out our room was a poor joke. An insult. We won’t be back ever. How about a half hour of sewage pumping at 7:15 AM right below your window. We couldn’t talk for half an hour. Letting out this room must be a running joke with staff. To charge us full price…. An insult to us personally.
Fresh berries, granola, yogurt, coffee, server at Breakfast. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The Dry Creek Kitchen is absolutely fabulous. Food and service were outstanding.
The hotel rooms and public spaces are cold and sterile, painted grey, and the art is minimal. The latter could be colorful to offset the coldness but it's also drab.
I love Healdsburg - a quick getaway from San Francisco. I love the warm summers, but I think Fall is actually my favorite. It's so charming and absolutely beautiful. The Vermont of the West Coast. My stay at Hotel Healdsburg was insanely perfect -- great service, well appointed room, with the most comfortable bed, fun bar scene Saturday night, with just amazing jazz. Wonderful yoga class at H2 Sunday morning, followed by a hot tub... honestly, I was so recharged! Simply a perfect weekend.
The hotel is fantastic with nice and helpful staff. The rooms are at an incredible level of luxury and very quiet. Convenient location to everything in downtown Healdsburg.
this is a beautiful hotel nestled in a beautiful street with wonderful shops. You do not even need to leave the hotel property though. The restaurants are 5 star.
everything, but the water pressure of the shower
the water pressure of the shower
Great hotel in the heart of town, walking distance to great restaurants. I loved how open and spacious the entire building was including the rooms. Also, the lighting in the rooms was wonderful! Finally a light and bright hotel room with plenty of different types of lights.
Wish there was a little bit more lighting for getting ready for a wedding.
