Staff was absolutely horrid, rooms were run down, felt like dungeon. Left my beats headphones called 6x they never followed up, 2 weeks after we left I was told room was not cleaned yet?!

Lions gate has and shall one day be the bedrock of Sacramento. One of the first military bases in the region needs to be cared for better.
Homeless people sleeping in the parking lot not good, no security very very unsafe. Air conditioner never worked fridge broke, room dirty and staff none responsive.

Way nicer than I expected from the cost. Staff was really helpful, room was very pleasant, quiet, clean, location felt very nice and safe, if out of the way. The complex was quite lovely too. There's free breakfast, though I didn't have time in the morning to go down and get some.
Not really any significant complaints! If there's anything it would just be that the room was a little bit warmer than my preference. (There might've even been a way to adjust that that I missed...) Also the key cards are really easy to demagnetize on accident, and a bit finicky to swipe, so keep that in mind. The bathroom doors are a bit of a weird style and it can be hard to close them the first time you get into the room — pulling at the top of the doorframe works better than using the little latch thing, though do be careful of your fingers. If those are my only complaints though, I'd say that reflects really well on this place for the price. I was very satisfied and would stay here again in a heartbeat if I had the occasion to.
Spider webs and spiders, green stains on bathroom sink, towels has hair on it, mattress has seen better days some tears. Need some thorough cleaning and it’s super outdated and the nightly rate should be $80 max for that room that we stayed on.
