Overall a good stay, would definitely return.
Pros:

Scenic views from back side of hotel. Convenient location, quality breakfast, clean facilities, contemporary spacious suites, friendly staff.

Cons:

Pool was closed.
TV input selection & HDMI ports were disabled.
Could not connect Apple TV or laptop.
Could not AirPlay or stream to TV.
No gymnasium facilities.
Active shooter police investigation led county police to hotel property patrolling certain corridors with assault rifles.

I would recommend your hotel
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. The extra sofa bed was perfect for my grandson. We enjoyed the view of the water. Our stay was less than 1/2 mile from my family so it was a perfect spot

Cons:

No complaints with the exception of the pool not being open

Ok, but not great
Pros:

The location is easy to get to. They have made an effort to upgrade and remodel rooms.

Cons:

It was weird to have a breakfast coupon and not be able to take breakfast back to my room. There was also an inch gap at the base of the hall door, so I could hear everything

Very loud party. Our room was on the third floor and we could still hear the very loud music and noise until midnight! Staff said there was nothing they could do. Also bathrooms were recently re done, but toilets were made for small children - close to the floor. They are a hazard for adults and people with limited mobility. Serious accidents waiting to happen!
