Very enjoyable stay
Nothing
Great location.
The price of parking, considering the cost of the hotel.
Location was perfect for our needs
Noise from nearby nightclubs; very weak orange juice at breakfast
nice location very vibrate
i think the rooms could but more cleanlier
Location for the gig we were going to.
Lifts were being refurbished-took ages to get anywhere as the ones working were full (9th floor).
Excellent location for the arena. Everything is within walking distance.
The bar service was very slow. It was busy but they were running out of things.
Friendly helpful staff,great location
One of the lifts had a "lip" difficult wheelchair access, duty manager was with us so is aware
Clean hotel , friendly and helpful staff .
Room was nice , shower good pressure and lots of hot water.
Nice linen and soft white towels
Pillows were hard , we requested two soft ones but they never appeared .
Breakfast: overpriced as plates were cold so by the time you got back to your seat the food was cold too. Only one coffee machine working .
Waited 15 mins plus for a poached egg .
Not a great layout for a busy breakfast area ! No separate yogurts.
Only 2 staff members on a busy bar .
Staff and position of hotel
Shower leaking over onto basin and toilet.
Bathroom bottom of door paint peeling off.
Towel and glasses in bedroom hallway all through night and still there in morning.
People brought in takeaway and ate in hotel foyer thst was disgusting.
Staff were good
The lobby was beautiful, staff were so friendly in the restaurant at breakfast in the morning
The rooms needed refurbishment. The paint was peeling off the door in the bathroom, stains all over curtains, floor not hoovered properly. The corridor down to the rooms had wallpaper peeling off the walls and chipped paint
Great location at a great price
Room was so hot and couldn't find any controls to turn this off. Bed was hard and not comfy.
Comfortable, clean and good location
Being told by reception staff that if my partner doesn't get to the hotel by 10pm that she wouldn't be allowed in...which doesn't make sense considering your not checked when you come after check in
This was my second stay here and I’d happily return again. We were unexpectedly upgraded to an executive suite, which was a nice surprise. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff member who checked us in was absolutely lovely. The location is excellent, it was just a 5 minute walk to the Utilita Arena, with a Wetherspoons next door and a Sainsbury’s across the road. It’s also about a 15 minute walk from the train station, which was really convenient.
The air conditioning didn’t seem to be working properly this time, although it wasn’t too much of an issue during our stay as the weather was mild anyway. I also found the room service options limited for vegans, and the prices felt quite high for what was available.
Good selection at breakfast, Good location and close to arena, beside tram line and a number of shops/bars
1 person on reception at check in time (waiting 27 mins to be checked in), staff serving themselves at breakfast time and sitting down to eat with paying guests, room violently hot and air con did not work, asked weeks in advance for a birthday plate in room along with arrival time which was not there, security knocked on the bedroom door at 1.30am to tell us we were too loud and to turn the tv down (this was a joke because I was just drifting off to sleep and the tv was on 5, complained the next day and no contact from hotel since (dm, gm or fom)
