Friendly staff, lovely food, clean
The mattress was terrible. Sunk in the middle , the worse night in a hotel and I have stayed in a lot of hotels. Needs replacing.
Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. We had travelled all days deciding to have dinner at the hotel it was the worse dinner I’ve ever had I chose the steak pie it arrived at the table overcooked with soft soggy french fries and a small pot of congealed gravy I would never again have dinner at this hotel.

Poor breakfast, no egg choice, cheap produce! This hotel chain has to address workmen in dirty scruffy work wear sat in the breakfast area were people are eating!

Evening meal wasn’t good at all on the 2 evenings we ate there, although the breakfast was very good each day. Would also benefit from a few signposts to find the place
First time we have stayed in a Holiday Inn Express, and were pleasantly surprised. For a 'budget' brand hotel, the room was nice, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was a buffet but well cooked with plenty of choice. Staff professional, but also very friendly. Can highly recommend.
