A Great Welcome to Lichfield awaits.
Pros:

Friendly staff to welcome you.
The room was nicely decorated, The furnishings were all in excellent condition and comfortable.
The ensuite facilities were in excellent shape with all the white goods working perfectly. It was nice to have the room serviced daily.

Cons:

Whilst the breakfast was very good the traditional slice of Toast & Marmalade was disappointing . Cheap White Bread & liquid Marmalade without any evidence of orange peel!!!

Very convenient to The National Memorial Arboretum. Safe and comfortable with parking.
Pros:

The staff were exceptional. Very welcoming and helpful. A special mention and thanks to James and Josh. As Australians we were very impressed with the lovely manner in which we were greeted. The location was close to the National Memorial Arboretum. We had a hire car and felt that it was quite safe in the Holiday Inn car park. I would stay there again.

Not a Happy Customer
Pros:

I went to this Hotel due to a personal family matter with my little dog and booked in for four nights. My daughter suggested that I just stay in the Hotel for 1 night then go to her house for the remaining three days
I told the Reception and they said that they would give me a discount. They charged me £ 285.64 for one night for just me and my little dog with breakfast. I explained my situation and wrote to the head office but they were not prepared to reduce the one night cost as a gesture of goodwill due to the circumstances. I had not long come out of Hospital after an operation. Where is the customer care with this Hotel charging extortionate prices despite my circumstances, it caused me a lot of distress. Another pointer was that the heating in my room was not working.
