The location and tidy room
The breakfast prices were not clearly explained during the booking process
I am from France and had a very pleasant stay. A special mention to Daniel for the warm welcome. I would also like to thank the whole team — bar, restaurant, servers and reception — even if I don’t remember all the names, everyone was truly kind and attentive. Very good service overall.
Absolutely loved it here, couldnt have been more welcome by the staff especially Dobrin, Rali, Revi, Nathan & Sam.
Receptionist staff make you feel welcome from the time you check in to the time you check out whilst the restaurant staff are so friendly and cannot do enough to help you.
Room was so comfortable and any issues were resolved straight away, was clean and airy, bed so comfy and the pillows are just right.
Food is excellent with a good choice, breakfast has an excellent selection for all tastes and they even made me an oat milk smoothie as I am lactose free.
Cannot complain about anything, 5 stars all round, would definitely recommend if you're thinking of going to Woking 🙂
Enjoyable stay. Great location for town centre.
Only one lift working.
I stay here every week for business and the service is consistently excellent. The reception team are always welcoming, efficient, and genuinely friendly, which makes check-in and check-out effortless even on busy days. The restaurant staff are just as great – attentive, professional, and a real credit to the hotel.
Pricing is exceptional for the level of service you receive, and it’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back week after week. A special mention to Laura, who always goes above and beyond and really makes a difference to the experience. Highly recommend this hotel.
Laura at DoubleTree Hilton, makes breakfast feel great, always welcome with a smiling face
Serving breakfast like sunshine lighting the place.
The hotel rooms are dated. Brown and dark and no bedside plug sockets and a slight smell of mothballs. Fridge was not cold ( but to fair I only had one item in it (but I had to throw away). Bath plug didn't hold water. The room was hot even with window open in Feb ( I am a menopausal woman to be fair!) BUT it is clean and central with good WiFi - for work it's fine. The staff are lovely. Especially Laura the breakfast manager who is so attentive, warm and friendly. A real asset to the hotel.
From the moment you walk in to leave everyone is friendly, helpfully and go the extra mile for all guests. Ralitsa always has a smile and is happy to help with anything I have asked about
Enjoyed a lovely stay at the hotel, special thank you to Daniel & Ralitsa on the front desk for a warm welcome, lovely to be engaged in an authentic manor to kick off the stay.
Good location amazing staff
Nothing
Clean room
Free cookie at check in
Expensive parking
Incompetent/ unaware staff
Loud alarm went off at 6:03am and when asking the staff why this was they pretended to act surprised (as if the entire hotel didn't ring)
The room was nice, clean and well equipped. The reception staff and one of particular waitress were amazing.
The breakfast hot options were cold . Some of the staff on Thursday morning were talking loud in their own language, despite the restaurant being full of guests, which may make people feel uncomfortable
Great people, great place - highly recommended
The hotel feels quite outdated. The reception staff were friendly at check-in, but I ended up waiting a long time for the lifts, as one was being upgraded. The menu hasn’t changed, so I skipped dinner. I also found the automatic 12.5% service charge off-putting, especially since it’s just a hotel restaurant with minimal service. The same charge was added when I ordered a beer at the bar—even though I took it to my table myself, drank it, and returned the glass. While they did remove the charge when I asked, I’m still puzzled why it was included in the first place.
Not very good Value for money.
