Extremely disappointing that as a party of 6 who spent a great amount of time & money in this hotels restaurant and bars that we are being treated so badly . We left some items of clothing in error and asked that they are returned to us , offering to cover costs . We were dismissed . We asked our travel agent to step in , she was ignored . We have even give an address in Spain to make it easier to send but to no avail. If this is the way clients are treated after spending thousands of Euros I would never book again that’s for sure.
This hotel is now under new management, Eurostars. I emailed the hotel 12 days before arrival to modify my departure date to leave one day earlier. I received response from Carlos from reservations which said “your reservation is confirmed”. When I checked it, it still showed the old departure date. The guy checking me in, Leonardo, assured me that it will be adjusted, but he cannot do it “because it is Sunday”. I asked if I need to come speak to them again; he said no, all taken care of. When I checked out, the date was still old. After showing them the email with “reservation confirmed” and the checkout lady arguing with someone on the phone for 15 minutes- to her credit, she was embarrassed by the situation - I was told that they cannot refund the last night, because the email said “reservation is confirmed” not “reservation is modified”. And that I could only modify it 14 days ahead - which was the first time that this came up and I was never told this before, so I think they just made it up on the spot as a cover up. Refused to call manager. So I paid for an extra night and I will never stay in any Eurostars hotel again.
Avoided at all costs!!!!!!!! My daughter had an accident in the pool. Cut her leg badly on an exposed rusty nail. The manager was so helpful getting us to the hospital but the Hotel went to ground. No apology , will not respond to correspondence. I must have sent 50 emails and no response. Stay away would be my advice , spend the 9 days between hospitals and in the bedroom. Holiday ruined. Not as much as a voucher provided. Be safe and avoid.

Very disappointing experience with temperature and service.
We asked the staff to check the room temperature because it was unbearably hot. When my daughter called the front desk, the answer was simply “open the windows” — since, according to them, other guests had complained about being hot. Their “solution” was to turn off the air conditioning for the entire system, affecting everyone else.
To make things worse, the windows barely open, so that wasn’t even a real option. It’s unacceptable for a hotel of this level to handle such a basic issue so poorly. The stay was extremely uncomfortable and the staff showed very little empathy. Definitely not recommended.
The big concern I will have the same issue until my check out on November 15th
We found this hotel to be satisfactory and allowed for an enjoyable stay. The rooms are quite spacious with beautiful nice sized bathrooms. The room was very clean and the shower had plentiful hot water with great pressure. We had one minor issue which was addressed promptly. There are no English speaking television stations if you wish to keep abreast of the news. The buffet for meals was varied and plentiful and rather good. One negative is its location which is a 10-15 minute taxi ride or 40 minute walk to attractions and even for restaurants and bars as it is in a residential area. This did allow for a good night's sleep.
The whole stay very positive, there are many amenities and services available at the hotel such as buffet breakfast, cocktail bar, outdoor pool, fine dining restaurant.
Nicely refurbished rooms to a high standard, spacious bathroom and walk-in closet in the junior suite.
Exceptionally clean with terrific bed.
During check out unexperienced staff was not able to calculated parking rate properly
This is a very large hotel with huge public rooms and a cavernous atrium towering over reception. This means noise is amplified and the lack of soft furnishings amplify this. Walls between the room are not very soundproof as well.
The room was comfortable and clean however, the fridge was inadequate, the safe not working and facilities for making a hot drink would have been nice. Two small bottles of water were, however, left daily. We reported the malfunctioning fridge and safe multiple times but nothing was ever done.
The hotel is a little way out of the centre but within an easy ten minute walk is a bus stop from where a regular bus will take you into the city for €1.30 per trip.
We didn't eat at the hotel but had drinks in the bars which were pleasant although noisy.
Very clean. Good facilities. Easy access via bus or taxi into Seville centre. Pool area was good place to chill at during the day. Towels provided. Pool bar was open late and a lovely place to come back to for a night cap.
Restaurant was fine for lunch but evening had no atmosphere. Felt like a cafeteria. However if you go to the hotels Italian style restaurant you won't be disappointed. The food and service was amazing.
This was a lovely hotel to stay in, it was an easy 1 bus trip into town in a nice location with a few shops nearby what had the essentials. It had a good size pool and a nice food and drink. Would definitely recommend this place as the bedrooms were a good size with an amazing shower and cleaned every day with new everything. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere when they had live music some nights which was great. The only small issue they had was closing the pool for 1 day.
Had to spend a long period in south of Seville and picked this hotel originally because of its preferred location.
Upon arrival I realised this is a busy hotel that hosted lots of group tourists and events. With group tourists came late night returns and early check outs, and if one wishes to sleep better one can ask front desk staff to try arrange a room further away from short term travellers.
I stayed in 3 different rooms in total, and the club room offered a more quiet environment compared to the other 2 normal rooms. Cannot blame other travellers for their schedules, but maybe if the hotel would renovate in future the owner/operator could focus on improving soundproof.
All amenities in room were great. Bedding and pillows were comfortable.
Big plus was the relatively low price and wide choice of food available both at buffet breakfast and Reverso restaurants.
Staff were also helpful on handling enquiries and resolving issues.
Overall very good. The hotel sits outside of the city. Approximately 20 minutes on a bus or 10 minutes in a taxi. The closest bus stop is a 7 minute walk. A No3 or No34 will take you right into the city centre for €1.40 each way. The taxi rank is outside the hotel and this will cost Approximately €11.00
The hotel is large and the function rooms seem busy with different events.
Rooms are clean and made up daily.
Air con works, slightly noisy.
Breakfast was plentiful with a nice selection of hot, cold, fruits and pastries. Also plenty of coffee machines so there was little to no queuing.
Staff were efficient and polite.
We checked out at 12 but didn't need to leave the for the airport until 430pm. We used the pool and sunbathed for the day. Unfortunately they couldn't accommodate our request for somewhere to change/shower before we departed. This is something we have become accustomed to in other hotels.
Plenty of drinking water available at reception.
No charge for pool towels and no charge or deposit needed for the room safe.
Pool area was clean and surprisingly wasn't busy at all.
Tourist information desk was staffed all day everyday. We found this very useful.
Push bikes available to hire for €18/day
I went here in July this year with my 5 year old son.
We had an excellent time, the hotel was big and very clean.
All of the staff from the reception and bars to the cleaners were all lovely and very polite.
The hotel was in a great location 2 minutes from the stadium and about 10 min taxi ride from the city centre.
We had a great time and we will be booking to go on our boys trip there again next year only this time for a bit longer.
Second time staying at Silken and just as good as the first time round.
Check-in was smooth and we were greeted by a lovely guy. Our room was ready on our arrival at 12ish PM. This time we stayed in a room with a balcony which I’d highly recommend choosing. The air con is okay and the water pressure is okay (expected though). Rooms are clean and we had ours cleaned each day. Leave a note to ask for new towels every couple of days otherwise they won’t be changed.
The pool area is very busy, especially at the weekends but we always managed to get beds in the place we wanted. I would say there aren’t enough umbrellas to the amount of Sun beds - this doesn’t usually bother me but in 43 degree heat it was a need to get one on some days.
There is sometimes a bad smell coming from the pool especially later in the days. We think it comes from the showers around the pool. Very popular for kids this time of year which we were prepared for. Does mean it’s not a very relaxing experience in the pool as it’s not big enough for the amount of kids and people. This didn’t spoil our experience though.
The breakfast was great, a huge selection which was great for a week’s stay and not wanting to eat the same thing every day. Never had any problems getting a table at breakfast.
The pool bar is great. We wished it stayed open for food in the evenings sometimes like it was last time we stayed but this was in 2022.
There are some bad reviews about lack of English but we didn’t have this experience. We were able to speak in a mix of the few bits we knew in Spanish and English and had no troubles at all.
Negatives -
The shallow kids pool is very dirty. First time round I loved sitting in there and reading but I couldn’t this time because it was filthy. We didn’t see it getting cleaned while we were there.
The restaurant inside at the hotel is not good, and would not eat here next time. I tried it both times I’ve stayed and the food was bad both times. We had to send our food back because it wasn’t properly cooked and just lacks flavour. This is why it can’t be a 5/5.
Overall we’d stay here again.
Fantastic hotel. Lovely decor and furnishings. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were good. Breakfast was delicious. Great swimming pool.
I chose this hotel for the use of its gym. It boasts about it on its website “ we offer our wellness center, equipped with a wide variety of machines to perform your favourite exercise”. However this is not the case. It is closed, no open date. No communication to say this would be the case and I believe it’s been closed for over a week now. The hotel do not care enough to offer do anything about this. It would have been easy for them to get me a €15 membership for a week at a local gym, but no … not a great experience here at all. Disappointing.
Perfect location. Will definitely be coming back.
Great hotel! Exterior surroundings outside were gorgeous so was the interior! Location is great and you can easily walk to many things. Staff are so lovely and helpful and friendly.
Tout est parfait ! Bien situé et personnel accueillant et très belles installations. Le seul hic le prix du déjeuner buffet à 19 euro ! C’est exagéré!
x
Very good 4 star hotel. Good size rooms, very quiet air conditioning system. We really enjoyed the pool and beautiful grounds of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was very good with a big choice of food and fresh juices. The only think that I would definitely suggest is to add the iron to the room. I am sure for 4 and 5 star hotels it’s a must to have it in the room.
