My stay here was great the night shift front desk attendants Shanta and Rob were so helpful and nice to me. I was celebrating my birthday and graduation and they made my weekend! The room they gave me had a great view!! Will be back to see them!!

Never heard noise like that through most of the night...
Pros:

The staff was very professional and polite, and the location is excellent.

Cons:

But my word, the noise... From until at least 3 in the morning there were revved motors and loud music coming from vehicles off the street that my white noise machine on full blast couldn't drown out. Either Charlotte doesn't have reasonable noise ordinances, or they simply don't enforce them. There was no way anybody could have been sleeping the night I was there. If you're in town to party til 4am, this place might be for you, but if you were needing a good night's rest for the next day like I was, you need to stay somewhere else. I feel bad because it's not the staff's fault, but travelers need to be warned that they won't be able to get a good night's rest here.
