This hotel closed ours doors on February 10 2026 and did not notify anyone. My wife saw a l small banner on their website that said it will be closing on 10 February. She called and was told we would get a refund but they are not honoring our stay. So they were going to let us show up to a closed hotel on a sold out weekend in Athens. Thanks for looking out. News reports said they are making dorm style apartments.
Nothing
Place was run down horrible
The pavillion, the quietness at night, the bustle of downtown during the evening and the home-like feel of the sitting area.
I believed that I had booked the room that I wanted but found out at the desk that I had not and it was essential to have the sitting area. So I had to pay an additional $75 for the sitting area on site. It was not the Deluxe Suite that I reserved but actually the Grande Suite I was told.
Walking distance to arena. Nice pool. Water pressure great. Great parking.
Small fridge. No microwave. No free breakfast, limited pay for breakfast options.
The room was musty. The shower was dirty. Rugs had big stains on them.
the cleanliness and state of the rooms were not what they used to be.
Location, front desk lady, eclectic vibe.
