Hampton Inn Mitchell

Pool was heated and clean. Rooms were decently clean. Free breakfast. Friendly staff. Large bathrooms. Would recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for one night. I think it’s the best Hampton Inn that I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve stayed at a lot of them. The room was large and super clean. The people were nice. And the breakfast was quite good.

I've stayed a lot of Hampton Inns, and this was one of the best! Clean, comfortable beds, extremely helpful staff, quiet and more.

Remodeled beautifully in 2024, this hotel has modern and comfortable decor, quiet, well-insulated rooms, professional staff and standard hot and cold breakfast, all of which was very good. I especially appreciate having dark roast coffee which for some unknown reason, some Hamptons don’t offer on weekends, Easy access off I-90 and convenient to several decent restaurants like Corona Village. Would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed in many Hampton Inn's these past few months, each with varying degrees of quality. This one, in Mitchell, is definitely at the top of the list and I would stay here again. The hotel is clean, updated, with friendly staff, and has easy and quick access to I-90. Plus, as a bonus, there's a nice big gas station next to the hotel so filling up before hitting the highway was a breeze.

We tried a couple other motels but this by far was the cleanest and allergy friendly. Josh was very accommodating when checking us in and the room was top notch! The bed and pillows were so comfy, we slept good. The rooms were also very clean, the tub was a nice soaker tub, and the pool was open until 11pm and after traveling and being at a sports event all day, and checking in late this was an added bonus. Breakfast was complimentary and nice variety of options and I would highly recommend this place if your in Mitchell, SD!

We stayed here for an event at the Corn Palace. The drive was easy to and from the event. The area was safe and there were several places to eat nearby. Rooms were clean. We didn't have any issues during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything thing was great. Check in was a hassle. Because the payment was nkt released by you guys. But the hotel management took care of it and they made sure to take care of their customer.

I've been meaning to write this review for a while. Penny at the Hampton Inn, is a wonderful employee and has been serving our family breakfast at the Mitchell hotel for over 10 years. She met us before our kids were born and we now have 3 kids, 8,8, and 6 and they look forward to seeing her every year on our cross country trips to see family. The hotel itself is always clean, chill and a great respite for us. It's everything you expect of a Hampton Inn. But it's the staff, especially Penny, who keep us coming back year after year.

I have stayed at this hotel before and always enjoy returning. It is conveniently located and easy to find. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, including the coffee. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Good clean hotel with easy access to interstate. The area is safe with a restaurant and fuel station close by. Staff were very friendly.

I was impressed by how convenient the location was to shopping, places to eat, and great updated remodeling look and feel. I definitely come back to stay here again.

They have clean and updated rooms. The front desk staff is welcoming and friendly. The housekeeping staff was constantly cleaning. The breakfast staff kept the food replenished.
My only concern was the noise from I 90. The property sets parallel to the interstate so it’s difficult to avoid the noise.
We will stay here again because the staff is great, it’s updated and clean and it’s an ideal location after a long drive.

Nice clean hotel close to several restaurants and shopping. It seemed like a safe area to us. We felt safe and even walked down to some stores. The breakfast was decent and had a variety of items. Pool area was nice too. Would definitely stay here again if we’re in SD.

We stay at many Hampton Inn's all across the country; this one is definitely in the top tier - no question. Beautiful, clean, and updated inside and out. If you're anywhere close to Mitchell and need a place to stay, this is the place! Management cares and it shows.

This Hampton Inn is close to the expressway, but far enough away to eliminate any highway noise. The staff were all friendly and helpful regarding dinner options nearby. The breakfast was very good and the staff were all friendly and helpful.
