Avani Pattaya Resort

It was just as we expected!

Uns hat vor allem die Freundlichkeit des kompletten Personals gefallen. Insbesondere die Crew der Pool Bar ist nicht zu übertreffen. Das Hotel liegt in Pattaya an Strandlage und direkt an der Beachroad. Aber weder im Zimmer noch wenn man am Pool liegt, bekommt man davon etwas mit. Es ist so fantastisch ruhig, als ob das Hotel eine Alleinlage hätte. Für uns wird es in Pattaya immer nur dieses Hotel geben.

My 5th visit in 2 years, and as perfect as ever. The management and staff are professional, approachable and ultra friendly. The choice and variety of breakfast options seems almost never ending and of the highest quality.
For someone who likes to swim daily for exercise the pool is perfect.
The hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquility in a vibrant 24 hour city, and only 30 yards from the beach.
I am looking forward to my next stay already.

Great location with very convenient access to everything. The breakfast is excellent, and even after many stays, I’m still impressed every time. The staff are always helpful, Natty consistently takes great care of my reservations. Also receptionist, Prae, friendly and nice. Highly recommended!

The hotel was beautiful and well maintained, with a very nice pool area, although the water was quite cold. The food was good, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options, which we really appreciated. It was also very convenient to have a shopping mall right next to the hotel, and the happy hour drinks were a nice touch. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the interiors felt a bit outdated, and it was disappointing that there were no free sunbeds on the beach, and the available ones were not very modern or comfortable.

Very good location. Rooms are good size and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast and all staffs are helpful and friendly.

The very best experience was with a Housekeeper. Her name is Duen and she made my trip so extremely comfortable. She was kind, attentive, and always had a smile on her face. Everyday she brought extra water and always asked if I was ok and if I needed more. The BEST part of my trip was meeting her. Thank you Duen for such an amazing work ethic!!!!

We revisited Avani Pattaya Resort from March 27th to March 29th, 2026. It was our third visit and it was a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle. Staying in the Spa Villa was a highlight, offering a level of privacy and serenity that is hard to find so close to the heart of Pattaya.
The Highlights
• The Spa Villa Experience: The wood villa itself was beautifully designed—spacious, elegant, and truly felt like a private sanctuary. The lush greenery surrounding the villa area makes you forget you're in a busy city.
• Service & Hospitality: The staff throughout the resort were exceptionally warm and helpful. Their "can-do" attitude really added to the positive vibe of the trip.
• Location: You get the best of both worlds: easy access to the beach shopping and walking street, but complete quiet once you retreat to the villa gardens.

Room for Improvement
While the stay was largely fantastic, there were a couple of small details that could be polished to make the luxury experience seamless:
• The Arrival Experience: Upon check-in, we weren't offered a welcome drink. After a long journey in the Thai heat, that small gesture of hospitality makes a big difference in setting the tone for a premium stay.
• Ambiance: For a "Spa Villa," I expected a more sensory experience. There was a noticeable lack of fragrance or aromatherapy in the room; adding a signature scent would really elevate the relaxation factor. There was aroma diffuser but the staff forgot to make it work.
• Also the lobby area bar gets closed too early.

Despite these minor hiccups, the Avani Pattaya remains a top-tier choice. The quality of the service far outweighed the small misses. I would certainly return—hopefully next time with a cool drink in hand and the scent of lemongrass in the air!

From the moment we stepped into the open-air lobby, the "Avani experience" took hold—warm smiles, seamless check-in, and an immediate sense of calm that made the city’s hustle and bustle feel miles away.

The Grounds & Atmosphere
The standout feature of this resort is undoubtedly its lush, tropical gardens. It is rare to find a property right in the city center that feels like a secluded jungle. The greenery is meticulously maintained, providing a beautiful backdrop for a morning stroll.

The Pool: The swimming pool is massive and serves as the heart of the resort. Surrounded by towering palms, it’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon with a cocktail from the swim-up bar.

Location: You truly get the best of both worlds. The resort is attached to Royal Garden Plaza, giving you instant access to shopping and dining, and the beach is just across the road.

The Room: Comfort Meets Style
We stayed in an Avani Terrace Junior Suite, and it exceeded expectations.

Design: Modern, clean lines with subtle Thai accents.

The Bed: Incredibly comfortable with high-quality linens—we had some of the best sleep of our trip here.

The View: Waking up to a view of the pool and the Gulf of Thailand from our private balcony was a daily highlight.

Dining & Culinary Delights
The food at Avani is top-tier.

Breakfast Buffet: One of the most extensive spreads I’ve seen. From fresh tropical fruits and artisan pastries to made-to-order omelets and traditional Asian noodle stations, there is something for everyone.

Benihana: Having the "World's Most Famous Teppanyaki" right on-site is a huge plus. The chefs are talented entertainers, and the steak was cooked to perfection.

Dicey Reilly’s: Great for a more casual vibe with excellent pub food and live music.

Service with a Smile
What truly elevates this resort is the staff. Every interaction—from the concierge helping us book a local excursion to the housekeeping team who left charming towel animals on our bed—was characterized by genuine Thai hospitality. They don't just provide a service; they make you feel like a valued guest.

The air conditioner is not cold enough and is too noisy, which makes the room uncomfortable to rest properly.

Really enjoyed my stay here with granddaughter and daugher in law. Staff is excellent, very clean place, pool is amazing, beds comfortable and the breakfast and restaurants were outstanding.
