Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Effective 1 June 2014, the Penang State Government will be imposing a local government fee of MYR 3 per room per night, payable directly to the hotel upon check in.

Pros:

E&O is practically my second home. Have been their loyal guest since 2013 and it was like an every weekend booking to the suites. After covid, I moved out of Penang and then just returned back to my wonderful home. Nothing beats the quality and service and the luxury!!!!

Un sejour qui nous replonge dans le temps ...
Pros:

Tout était parfait ! Un hotel colonial exceptionnel qui nous replonge dans le temps. 2 choix de petits dejeuner ( international ou continental) : excellent pour les 2 options. Une belle piscine. Un petit magasin charmant avec petit musée a l'arrière et un beau spa l'occitane. Excellent situation geographique ! nous avons tout fait a pieds.

Pros:

The room was so gorgeous. It had all the heritage building character with modern touches. The room exceeded our expectations, with stunning views of the ocean. We loved the two separate basins in our room and the bath tub. The gym overlooking the water was so motivating to continue focusing on our fitness while on holidays. It was a walk from most popular areas. The breakfast was also unbelievably good!

Historical Hotel Beautiful.
Pros:

Love the infinity pool overlooking the bay. Fitness centre facility was very good. Architectural history aspect superb.

Cons:

The breakfast…I didn’t think it was five star standard. Variety yes, quality no.

Pros:

Amazing hotel. We absolutely loved it and can not fault a thing. We had an Annex room that faced the ocean, so beautiful to have doors and balcony to step out on to. We had the daily buffet breakfast and truly has so many options for you to choose from, so many different cuisines. It was a great opportunity for us to try everything without committing to a single meal of something. We also did the buffet dinner one evening. Honestly couldn’t fault. The staff were amazing, polite and friendly and helpful.

The best experience ever.
Pros:

Fantastisk hotell
Pros:

Stilen, beliggenheten, atmosfæren, rommene, bassengområdet.
Vi hadde 2 store rom med balkong, og med en egen inngang til en gang mellom de 2 rommene,,slik at det fungerte som en slags stor leilighet med 2 bad ( perfekt med 2 barn på 10 og 14 år).

Cons:

Harde, ubehagelige stoler på balkongen. Litt og uoppmerksom treg service i bassengbaren.
