Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Effective 1 June 2014, the Penang State Government will be imposing a local government fee of MYR 3 per room per night, payable directly to the hotel upon check in.

- The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. For reservations made by a third party, you will need to complete an authorization form and present a copy of the person's ID and credit card.

Pros:

Tres bel hotel et installations. Personnel tres proffessionnel tout en restant sourriant et aimable. Belles chambres et literie impecable. Legerement à l'ecart du centre, qui reste accessible à pied en 10 minutes, mais suffisant pour respirer le calme la nuit.

Cons:

La restauration n'est pas au top.

Every aspect of our stay was amazing. We were lucky enough to be given an upgrade to a suite. I intend to book this suite next time we stay there. Literally the best hotel I have ever stayed at.

A Memorable Experience!
Pros:

Stunning colonial architecture inside and out. Spacious comfortable suites with sea views that are beautifully appointed. Comfortable beds. Restaurants and bar have lovely ambiance, great food and cocktails. Manicured gardens facing the sea are nice to stroll in. Friendly professional staff.

Cons:

Just little things only that would enhance the stay further, there are no snacks or fruit bowl on arrival in the Victory annex. A hotel of this standard should provide this and not only in the Heritage wing. TV should be updated to better newer smart TV’s. Should be able to order food and drinks poolside.
