Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Effective 1 June 2014, the Penang State Government will be imposing a local government fee of MYR 3 per room per night, payable directly to the hotel upon check in.

- The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. For reservations made by a third party, you will need to complete an authorization form and present a copy of the person's ID and credit card.

Pros:

Room facilities, quite environments, spacious and feel luxurious. The view either sea or can see penang bridge

Cons:

The mini fridge is useless not cold at all. Coffee machine no instructions how to use it. Wasted the capsules.TV channel can be improved.

Went to E&O for its history.and not disappointed
Pros:

Breakfast very good . View excellrnt. Room huge with spacious sitting area.

Holiday for elderly.
Pros:

Room is good size,facing sea.
Breakfast was great.

Cons:

Bathroom has leakage all the time wet.Staff also cannot do much to rectify.Old hotel.

If im coming to Penang again, E&O is my choice of hotel to stay
Pros:

I had the best breakfast and the quality of the food served is excellent. The room is so comfortable. The location is very convenient to access the good eateries and site seeing

Cons:

I'm sad that I didn't get the full view of the sea but nevertheless I enjoyed the part Seaview room.
