Fireplace not operable. Advised at checkin; which was very late for us. Did offer to move us but advised no guarantee other would work. Said would have maintenance look; they didnt. Had to call. Man came said needed part, had to go check if had one, never returned or given status or offered any compensation. Room was cold. I booked this room for fireplace. Also coffee in lobby ice cold & none available on Saturday until bkfst at 7 am?

Pretty nice place would stay van again.
Pros:

Drain in the shower didn’t work the blinds didn’t work never got house keeping ,two few towels .
Had to go get the pack and play after asking three times the Kitchenette was great.the trash cans were to small.

Check everything in your room to make sure it works properly before leaving the hotel for the day

Very spacious suites.
Delicious hot breakfast. Nice selection of food.
Good location/ centrally located to where I needed to go.
Friendly staff; but I encountered a problem that was NEVER resolved so I don't feel I had the TRUE Marriott experience.

Cons:

First, the room I selected and reserved was unavailable, but wasn't told that until the no cancellation day (or you lose 1 night's stay). So, it was supposed to be a girl's weekend- together in 1 room and we had separate rooms. The front desk worker offered to put a note in my account to see if Marriott would give me some reward points.

Second, the parking is HORRIBLE! Very tight parking and the overflow underneath had no elevator, so you had to carry bags up several stairs.

Third, neither of my lamps in the living room worked. Neither did my tv in the bedroom. When I mentioned it late at night, I was told the hotel was sold out so I could not be moved, but the front desk worker told me he would have maintenance come to my room the next day. So, the next morning when I went down for breakfast, I told the a.m. front desk worker about my situation. She said she would have maintenance take a look. I was gone for 13 hours and low and behold, when I returned, the lamps and the tv STILL DIDN'T WORK!

The next day, I checked out and mentioned it to a third front desk worker who was gracious enough to add some loyalty reward points to my account.

My choice to stay when I return to Charlotte.
Pros:

I loved the location, near restaurants and the mall.

Cons:

The breakfast choices could have been better. But, overall, very nice.

Cons:

Bill arrived with extra fees that I wasn’t privy to. Also, paid for a full day of parking even though I left at 8am and handed over the key cards. Bathrooms need updating and vents need to be cleaned.

Good stay in perfect location with good breakfast.
Pros:

Quiet room and well appointed facility with convenient parking near to shopping and restaurants and convenient location for travel in Charlotte area

Cons:

A bit slow checkin process as my name was not correctly entered and we had to register and pay for the parking separately.
