We love staying here in the fall or spring.
Pros:

Great location. I miss the free breakfast buffet at Casa Mexicana, but it’s nice having continental breakfast at least. Coffee was excellent, waitress was great.
We love having the open windows in the living room

Cons:

The room smelled like sewage gas the first few nights, but think it was due to the wind as it was better when the wind died down. We are used to this issue in Cozumel.
Wish there were a few more dishes in the kitchenette, and maybe some dish soap. Refrigerator is nice. Would be really nice to have a microwave, but they did bring a coffee maker to the room.

La ubicacion de este hotel esta genial. Esta muy cerca del puerto donde llegan los ferrys. Tiene mucha variedad de restaurantes que puedes llegar caminando.
El aire acondicionado es increible, de esos que no decepcionan. Te hacen los descansos mucho mejor.
Buenas camas.

Cons:

No tuvimos agua caliente continua. Nos costo bañarnos.
Y que quizas es un hotel que esta viejito pero sería lo unico.
Para lo "viejo" esta bien conservado.
El desayuno continental muy basico, supongo que asi son. Aunque tienes opciones pagas para completar tu desayuno.
Casi no lo usamos porque la verdad era muynulo lo que incluian.

Disappointment
Pros:

Excellent location, right on 5th ave. Spacious rooms. Clean.

Cons:

Extremely dark. Both windows and lamps barely provide any light. Reading or looking at a screen was painful to eyes even during the day, with all lights on.
Kitchenette was poorly equipped. No microwave. There was a stove and a pan but no kettle or pot, no way to boil water.
Few times there was no hot water in shower, but got back later on.
Slow and unstable wi-fi.
Very old and tired furniture, paint, etc. Needs renovation. No shelves to put clothes. No sockets near beds.
No pool.
Included breakfast is a scam. You get two toasts, coffee and a tiny fruit salad with a spoon of yogurt on top. No eggs included. They do offer eggs - but charge 150 MXN extra for omelette. First time i see "breakfast included" where you have to pay for freaking eggs. Basically it is just their way to lure you to cafe tables and offer their paid menu.
Overall, with a proper maintenance it could be a great 3* hotel. But at its current state it is an overpriced and overrated trap.
