The hotel feels dated and poorly maintained. The breakfast was well below expectations, offering mostly processed, sugary items with very few healthy choices. There was no Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, or freshly prepared fruit salad available, and even the fruit salad provided contained added sugar. The strawberry fruit mix was served frozen solid, making it impossible to eat.
Cleanliness was another significant concern. The corridors and carpets were visibly dirty, with dust and stains noticeable throughout common areas.
The mattress was extremely worn out and had clearly lost its support, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. In addition, the hotel advertises a gym, but it is extremely small and poorly equipped, offering very limited workout options.
Overall, the hotel falls far short of the standards expected for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Convenient location.
Understaffed. Took three goes to find a room where a key would work. Receptionist stood in as cook. Breakfast left under heat lamps which dried it out. Access to corridors not secured.
Easy to get to with parking. It is next to a service station, so there are restaurants and fuel station on the same site. Also esasy to get around Leeds.
I had to wait 15 mins to checkin. There was no one at the front desk. There was a button for attention which I pressed multiple times. No one came.
The hotel is good for a one night stay while driving though. I wouldn't want to stay there for long. The bathroom could do with a little maintaninance with loose toliet seat.
Didn't eat at hotel
The receptionist said the key cards to my room didn't work....so I wouldn't be able to use them..he suggested when I needed access too my room ..I should come to reception and they would go to my room with me and let me in....I told him that was totally ridiculous..but he said it was all he could do....this employee is an idiot.
Absolutely a wonderful experience this hotel has become our second home the staff are absolutely fantastic and Jane who works on reception is amazing!! Never fails to help and the hotel itself is 10/10 for cleanliness and facilities!!
We had an amazing stay at the Ramada and can’t recommend it enough! Our room was not only clean but also super comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we especially appreciated Jane on reception, she was so kind and made us feel right at home!
