From the moment we arrived everyone made us feel so welcome from door to reception to room service. Treated us like family, notable mentions Chuck & John and everyone one on reception during our visit. Rooms clean comfortable & great space. Lobby beautiful & ambiance so relaxing. Definitely return

We regularly visit NY and have stayed in many different hotels in many different areas of the city. If you are bringing a car and want to be in the Midtown area, this a great option. They have valet, but there is also a parking lot directly across the street from the hotel. Rates are typical for the area. And although you are in a busy area, the street the hotel is on has surprisingly little traffic. The hotel itself feels boutique and has a restaurant and bar area. We appreciated that our Hyatt status was recognized. The king suite was very roomy for a NY hotel with a great shower and comfy bed. Special shout out to Crystal, who is a gem and made sure at both check in and check out that we were happy with our stay. We will definitely stay here again the next time we drive into the city.

We really enjoyed our stay here (first time at a Hyatt) and would absolutely book again for a future trip. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We were greeted every time we arrived with a warm "hello" or an opened door. We were offered bottle water throughout our visit which was great to have while exploring the city. We also received tokens for complimentary drink (beer, wine) for 5-7pm but didn't have a chance to use it. They were not able to accommodate an early check-in but stored our bags with no issue. They also stored our bags after check-out. We utilized the convenient (although a bit pricey $70) car service to get to LGA.

The hotel is conveniently located near a CVS, several local shops (coffee, bagels, pizza, etc.) The area around the hotel was not crowded or loud and felt very safe. The 6 (green line) subway station is down the corner which made getting around very easy. Penn Station is also only a 20min walk away for those coming in from EWR airport train.

The hotel was very clean and updated. We booked a 2 (double bed) room for 2 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of space to spread out- felt big for a NYC hotel. Windows had blackout shades. Room had built-in white noise. Bathrooms had nice options for the free toiletries. Large shower, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. We only stayed 2 nights and received housecleaning services including fresh towels upon request.

TLDR: Great stay, would re-visit, 100% recommend!

Hotel was locate in a quiet neighborhood. it was in walking distance to retail, Department stores, and various sight seeing attractions,

On site valet made it extra stress-free. Staff was great and stay was wonderful!

The location was very convenient and staff were friendly. The room was just enough space for the time spent and the hotel was clean.

Location is great and staff are amazing always giving us bottles of water etc and there was a happy hour one day which was lovely as well as two free tokens for the bar

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and generously sized, with tasteful, classy décor that created a relaxing atmosphere.

The location is excellent—situated in Midtown East and just a few minutes' walk from the subway, making it easy to explore the city. Despite being in such a bustling area, the hotel feels like a peaceful retreat. The beautiful lobby and the charming study, tucked away in plain sight, provide a calm and inviting space to unwind after a busy day in New York.

The service was outstanding as well. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, respectful, and responsive. Overall, a delightful stay, and we would gladly return.

Park South Hotel is ideally located in Midtown, with a subway station (subway line 6) within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel entrance to facilitate travel around New York on the subway network. The Queen sized bedroom we booked was compact, on the 8th floor, but suited our needs perfectly for our stay & it was very clean, with daily cleaning & towel changes freshening up the room every day. The hotel staff were warm, friendly, polite & definitely the major plus point for this hotel, as they couldn't do enough for us if we asked them any questions or made any requests from them that they were able to assist us with during our stay. A huge thank you to all of the reception staff & door staff at the hotel who made us feel like part of the family during our stay.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again in future if we returned to visit New York.

This was our second time staying at Park South and we will be back! The hotel staff make the stay extra special. We took a red eye from the West Coast and arrived way before check in time but the lovely Crystal at reception went above and beyond to ensure our room was ready early. Her kindness and welcoming personality were exceptional. Chuck, the door ambassador, is a true super star in the customer service department. Always ready with a smile and a compliment. He makes you feel special and well taken care of. Mohammed is also a great door ambassador, very attentive and kind. The hotel is chic, clean and in perfect proximity to the subway, buses, Citi bike kiosk and soooo many restaurants.

A brilliantly located hotel in midtown. We had a room with 2 doubles for our family of 3. Beds are comfy but a touch small. Room in general is nicely decorated and probably a touch larger than many competitors for the price. We were on the 5th floor overlooking an internal courtyard area so road noise was minimal. A little bit of noise from the rooftop bar, but it never went on late so it didn’t bother us. Also noticeable that there was no obvious footfall outside the room in the corridors or in adjacent rooms, which we thought was very impressive, particularly because the hotel was busy during our stay. A bit light on storage room, but for a few days it didn’t trouble us. Morning coffee in brewr is great, and we had a lovely cocktail in skewr too. Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Close to some great food options too - next door for bagels and schmear is the perfect option for breakfast if you don’t have it included in the hotel. My only gripe is that the AC unit was really loud which was a pain at night. But if we were to return to New York (and I hope we will) then we’d definitely come back here. Thanks for a great stay.

Chic-NYC stay. Rooms were chic and comfortable; beds were soft and inviting. Bathroom was spacious and clean. I feel like this was a great stay and feel so happy this was my choice for one night in the city - I would stay here again for an extended period. The staff was kind from the moment I arrived to the moment we left, not a single sour moment. Thank you! (Area can be tricky late at night - recommend Ubers)
