Good Value and Friendly Front Desk
Pros:

I stayed at the HIE in Manchester one night while doing a cross-country drive. I got exactly what I needed, and I very much appreciated the proactive friendliness of the front desk staff, as well as their advice on the area. The room was clean, and I appreciate the availability of free coffee / hot drinks. The location was easily accessed, but not so close to the highway that noise was an issue. Very solid value, and if doing the same trip someday, I would make the effort to stay here again.

Pros:

I liked that the room was cleanly and the beds were softer than most beds I encountered on my trip. The breakfast was pretty good too

Cons:

I didn’t like that my children identified the pool was dirty. It was not clear enough to see them swim. I also didn’t like that the bathroom in our room had no fan. There were not enough outlets in the room either, and the one by the bed was so loose, I was lucky to get my clap machine to stay plugged in enough to get power overnight. Also the pillows were on the lower quality side.

We only got to stay for one night for my brothers graduation but it was everything we needed and very nice and comfortab
Pros:

We loved our stay. Everything was great. The breakfast was phenomenal. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was nice but I wish it was warm.

Cons:

The dogs at the front desk were so so cute but they barked a lot.

Location was good, close to interstate

Cons:

Mattress was in terrible condition. Lower end of bed lifted up, sink hole on the middle of the mattress. Sheets didn’t fit bed well. Room was dark and lighting was poor. Question cleanliness of the room. Receptionist charged us twice for security deposit. Not certain she knew what she was doing!

I was disappointed with this hotel and would not stay here again.

Convenient location off the interstate

Cons:

Difficult to find (poor street lighting and no signage telling you where to turn off the main street). The room smelled like teenage boys. The bed and pillows were fantastic. Breakfast area was very small and had a poor flow. Plain omelette was truly “plain”, no cheese just “eggs”. The fried eggs were very overcooked.

It had a great breakfast. The room was awesome. Indoor pool and a 24 hr coffee bar.

Cons:

I was double charged for this room. Once by booking and once by holiday inn itself and i cant seem to get one of the payments back. It makes me leary to use booking again.
