Disappointing service and old room, but with a great view
Pros:

The location of the hotel is great. It's right next to the beach. My room with a balcony had a great view.

Cons:

The service was very poor. I booked a balcony room in the main building, but when I arrived they put me in the annex. They said they were giving me a "free upgrade" to the annex as it was built more recently than the main building rooms. However, the main building was recently renovated and the rooms are much nicer there. They lied to me saying they were giving me an upgrade when in reality it was a downgrade.

Also, I asked if they could help me find a bar to watch the South Korea vs South Africa world cup game. They told me that since the game started at 10am no bar or restaurant in Haeundae would be open yet and I would not be able to watch it. I was surprised since Koreans are big fans of their team. However, they told me that Koreans are very busy so they would just watch it on their phone or watch at home, reassuring me that there was no way I would be able to watch it. Thankfully the morning of the game, I walked around and found a bar less than 10 minutes walk away from the hotel that opened early that day at 10am specifically to show the game. This service from the concierge was very disappointing and not what I would expect from a concierge at a 5 star hotel. They did not even attempt to call any bars or restaurant to see if they would be open. Instead they just said whatever they could to try to get rid of me.
