For business travel or a quick 1 night stay before jumping on a cruise ship it’s ideal. Right in the heart of town and walking distance to shopping, the ferry to Playa, restaurants…. It’s not fancy but it is best option in the area

The trip was over my birthday and the staff even surprised me with a special birthday decorated room!!!!! Breakfast "buffet" is always fresh options and very tastey!! We will always stay at Casa Mexicana when in Cozumel!!!!

Fun spot next to the port

Hotel is in a good location, taxis outside the door to take you where you want. Hotel bar was never open and room service selection was not that great.

We stayed on top floor balcony facing the water and it was beautiful. The breakfast was very good, lots of variety. Don't leave your plate unattended because it's open air area and birds will take your food.

Breakfast, which was included was just ok, at best. If your room balcony bordered the center dining area on the second floor, sleeping in was only possible if you had earplugs. Barking dogs in the building as well as screaming children just reverberated throughout the center of the building. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for at this hotel, I’d look at the rooms with the ending numbers of -09 through -20. Also be ready for banging and drilling from some sort of renovation work being done in this hotel after 8 am each week day.

I have stayed here many times. Convienent downtown location. Walk to market and restaurants. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Casa Mexicana has been my go-to place to stay for the past 6 years. Located right downtown, it's very convenient and there are a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. There are always Taxis waiting just in front which makes it easy to go anywhere on the island.

The staff at Casa Mexicana are all very friendly and do everything they can to make my stay comfortable. Rooms are very clean and the air conditioning is excellent in the rooms.

I highly recommend Casa Mexicana to anyone wanting a clean, cool, convenient place to stay while on Coumel.

Great staff and hosts. The breakfast was very good. Very clean.

First the good. Clean, nice rooms. Great Breakfast buffet. Awesome location. Now, the not-so-good. The wifi was so weak as to be useless. The view that I had was of a parking garage and the patios of businesses. Finally, there are no fans in the room to dry scuba gear. I asked for one, but was told "I'll see if one is available." Apparently, there wasn't one available because I never received one.

Feels like home away from home. Always friendly, helpful staff especially Monica who went out of her way to help me with WiFi signal problem. Breakfast always brightens my day and coffee is better than Starbucks.
