Outstanding hotel
Pros:

We've stayed here at the Baymont in Gatlinburg around 4 times maybe more. Rooms are very clean, staff is very friendly, prices are usually affordable.

Cons:

Only complaints we have is the beds aren't very comfortable and the mini fridges do not work well. Drinks aren't cold at all.

Pros:

View! Location was great. My nine year old and I walked everywhere. Rooms were nice and updated.

Cons:

Road noise was loud but didn’t affect sleeping. Hallway noise also loud anytime people talked or walked past room.

It was a very nice hotel I loved that it was on the river and the geese being there added a nice touch
Pros:

I loved the river and the provided amenities

Cons:

I felt as if it could have been cleaner, the bottom of the tubs had grime on them as well as around the corner of the counters and floor. And felt like the pool could have been cleaned a bit better.

Construction ruined our stay
Pros:

Nice breakfast and room - the noise pollution ruined everything, though. Ridiculous that we had to put up with it and were given no sympathy or understanding.

Cons:

Construction work going on while we stayed was unbearable and the staff was not at all sympathetic. Considering the number of guests like us who will NEVER return to the property because of the rudeness of the cacophony starting early each morning and lasting into the evening is surely a greater financial loss than having construction take place while that wing is not rented out for a few days. Just sayin...

Pros:

Loved the private balcony and listening to the river flow over the rocks. Enjoying the spacious room. The location is walkable to downtown but not close. I suggest you park at the welcome center (free)and take the trolley all over town. It's free and easy to get on and off. The hotel is older but our room was completely updated. I like that the sink is in a separate area from the tub. The breakfast was great. Eggs, bacon , sausage, waffles and more.

Cons:

The access to all rooms are outdoor corridors. To get to the pool, you have to go outside. A bit of a problem in February but probably not usually an issue. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice. All rooms face the river and the street so there was some street noise. The staff could have been much more friendly. One small elevator but we were there in off season so it wasn't a problem.

Pros:

Location

Cons:

Very poor customer service ! The TV went out, the customer service at the desk. Made no effort to replace the T. V or even change rooms for us. They lied to us and said there was no rooms available. I searched online. There was 3 rooms available in these same hotel. I even had book.com to check the lady even told me on the phone from booking.com that the motel had more rooms available. I would not recommend this place very unprofessional staff. Very rude staff very disrespectful staff, they don't care about their client's. The even laughed at me saying that where they're from, they had no TV. And it wasn't no big deal. Really? It's something you don't tell your customers. I don't think it was funny for us. Not having a TV when I paid to have one. I will never go back to this motel again. And they did not offer no reimbursement or anything on-site. Very unsatisfied. They were very unprofessional. I'm very rude.
