Casa Loma Beach Hotel (formerly The Inn at Laguna Beach)

Have been coming to this hotel for over 13 years. Would not consider staying anywhere else. Great location and great staff. Ekaterina makes us feel like we’re home as soon as we walk in the door. Could not ask for a better host.

Amazing experience as always. This is my 4th or 5th time staying here and it’s always great but since the renovation it’s really been an exceptional experience. The location cannot be beat, the spritzer from the bar at check in was delicious, staff was all amazing including housekeeping, rooms were clean and spacious. Overall very happy and cannot wait to come back.

Just stayed at Casa Loma and fell in love. I was suppose to be visiting with cousins locally who fell ill and we decided I stay and do my thing but no risk getting sick. I am originally from California.
This was the best choice. Casa Loma has really done Amazing job of blending old California charm with elegance and design. They r were thoughtful in curating absolutely everything from the furniture to the extra options in the room. They really pay attention to the beautiful simple luxuries of life. If you enjoy the California experience they’ve out done themselves.

On another travelers note in general Laguna Beach is ideal for non smokers the entire city is smoke free of al Tabasco, cannabis and anything that exhales smoke. Perfect for me - may not be for others

Obsessed with this hotel. Location is perfect, the facility s really nice design and thoughtful touches throughout and In the room. Loved the food, pool and walk ability

The remodel is a 10. The customer service from the greet drink to the tlate night terrace accommodation was over the top Cost "this time" not.so bad

The staff here really went above and beyond for us. I made a mistake on the dates of my reservation and they stepped in and fixed it for me. They gave us an awesome room and were very friendly and welcoming in the process. Shout out to the team - Maria, Emory, Amber and Cole - for all they did to make our stay a great one!

We loved our stay at Casa Loma! The location is fantastic and we loved the new look post-renovation. The design gives a really calming feeling and the staff were all so lovely. Can't wait to go back, we had a tough time leaving such a perfect stay. Thanks again! :-)

Loved everything about staying here- except the nickel and dime experience.
Rooms: super modern, great with well thought out details, comfy beds.
Hotel: spectacular location on the cliff above Laguna. Really nice pool and ambience. Delicious breakfast served in lobby.
BUT if you want a basic cup of drip coffee in the morning (they only have powdered coffee in your room) it’s $7 and they add on a tip! No refills. At breakfast we left a cash tip on the table since the front desk clerk delivered the meal to you- they scooped it up and added a full tip to our room bill. $70 a day to park. $40 resort fee. Then tax on it.
At checkout found they added someone else’s room service charge for $130+ to our bill in error. Took 20 minutes to resolve. So can’t quite give it 5 stars.

From the minute we walked in..from the hip Mallorcan decor and vibe, chill welcoming beach music, and incredible scent of sandalwood and eucalyptus, I knew this was the right place for our Anniversary in Laguna.

We were offered complementary welcome champagne cocktails which eased the stress of our six hour drive from Phoenix and check-in was a breeze. Even better was walking into our room with a beautiful ocean view and complimentary Anniversary bottle of champagne & chocolates!

We immediately opened the large sliding glass door to take in the ocean breeze and we were welcomed with the sound of the surf and incredible views of the cove and sunset!

Room was impeccably decorated & clean, had a beautifully stocked bar, soft comfy bed & sheets, and included turn down service at night. Did I mention the complimentary hot chocolate chip cookies ever night in the lobby?

The hotel manager Carlos was handsome, kind & personable and and even sent us a gift to our room after complimenting him on the music and impeccable and friendly service of his staff.

Don’t miss out on this hip, chill, and perfectly located boutique hotel..walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops and perched on the perfect corner in downtown Laguna for the most incredible views. We have decided to make Casa Loma our chill Anniversary trip every year!

The only thing missing were beach chairs but they did have blankets and towels and a salt water pool with a few cabanas which was very relaxing. A limited menu for food, but all day breakfast was perfect and they have beautifully crafted charcuterie boards to satisfy afternoon snacking while overlooking the ocean on the patio or rooftop lounge with incredible ocean views.

Thank you Carlos and Casa Loma for giving us one of the best Anniversary beach experiences in Cali..and we have stayed in almost every town along the coast!

Best hotel in laguna. Amazing view and sounds of crashing waves. Staff was outstanding. Great little touches like hot cookies at 6pm every night, oversized bath towels, wonderfully scented lotion and soap. Location was ideal. We walked everywhere. While parking is super convenient, it is $70 a night which is a bit steep.

Wonderful location and charming boutique hotel atmosphere , decor . Staff was attentive kind friendly — view & welcome treats great .only complaint is mattresses too low & soft .

So relaxing. Very nice room with a view. We had our dogs with us and it was easy to walk them. The food was excellent. Great place. We’ll be back.

Very nice hotel but not worth the price tag. There was a wedding there that weekend and as soon as we checked in the woman at the front desk let us know that the Pacific Terrace (the one in ALL their photos) would not be available to us for the entirety of our stay. Wish we would have known that when we booked the hotel at $700+/night. We would have absolutely considered staying some place else.

Great location for access to the main beach and restaurants in Laguna Beach.

Overall was a great one night stay, nothing beats hearing/seeing the ocean from your own room. Also was very clean, nice pool/hot tub. Only issue we had was with the breakfast that was very slow, and we were told we will get 2 complimentary drinks when we arrived, but ended up getting charged in the end.
The food itself was good.
We wouldn’t have minded the wait if we were recommended to order in the room or at least make us aware that it’a going to take some time so we can enjoy that hour with the view/beach or the pool.

Staff was great. Location perfect. Room great. Will stay again.
