We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. There were plenty of cozy spaces to relax, and the all-day bar with drinks and light bites was a nice touch. The service was kind and attentive, and check-in was quick and easy.
Our room was simple but had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. We especially loved the library sitting area—it’s such a charming spot.
The location is perfect, just minutes from the beach and pier. St. Petersburg was beautiful in late March with great weather. We truly enjoyed our stay!
Karel was extremely friendly and inviting to us as new customers. She was accommodating to our coffee preferences of wanting something bitter and not too sweet. We look forward to coming back.
Karel is a great barista! Super quick, very friendly!
Do not stay at this hotel
We reported what appeared to be black mold in the bathroom of our room, which is a significant health concern, especially for a pregnant asthmatic. The only action taken by the staff was to have housekeeping wipe the area, which did not address the underlying issue or provide any reassurance of safety. The only other option offered was to switch rooms after 4pm the night before our check-out which is unacceptable, inconvenient and would not resolve the disruption to our stay.
We made multiple attempts—two in person, four via telephone, and twice by email—to escalate this matter and requested to speak with a supervisor, but unfortunately, no one has returned our calls or followed up with us. This lack of response has been extremely disappointing.
We are extremely disappointed considering the unresolved health concern, inconvenience, and lack of proper/ANY customer service.
We approached the front desk and Taylor welcomed us with a smile. Our group had a reservation nearby that did not meet our expectations and so we took a walk and tried to find an alternative. Originally Cordova Inn was our first choice but it wasn’t available at the time we booked. Taylor shared they did have availability for all the days we needed, showed us the room and took care of business. We enjoyed our stay and the vibe - the entire staff was attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here it is also very close to all the things happening in downtown St Pete.
Absolutely the worst experience I am presently having. Toilet has to be plunged daily and more. Don't say that there is no housekeeping because there isn't. You can leave your towels outside. Room is tiny. First room, no electricity on the headboard wall. How to Sign into the free parking was a mystery. We finally learned how to complete.
Great location near the pier. But that's it.
First mattress felt like it was hay.
Good luck
Great atmosphere and Karel took great care of my friends and I at the cute coffee bar! I will definitely be back to visit! Historical hotel with lots of interesting history.
The only reason I gave it a 1 and not a zero was for its location.
I understand that the room was suppose to be historical charm but all I experienced was old and rundown. Besides being small , there were several areas of the room that had black streaks, almost like water build up. The bathroom has no place to put any of your own toiletries down on the pedestal sink. Behind the sink there is a window with a floating mirror again, black along the sill and all around the faucet.
There is no elevator, so be prepared to walk up as many as 3 flights with your luggage. The air conditioner is a wall unit that goes on and off constantly. I would bring a sound machine or earplugs if you want sleep. Find this very annoying They had one quarter size bar of towels in a basket on your bed with towels. There was no phone in the room to call downstairs. The desk was not always manned. There was a small bar as soon as you walked in which people seemed to enjoy.
The room for two nights was almost $600 which included a resort fee. Sorry, I waisted my money!
Actually, I did not stay there but I wish I had. I went to the Cordova while walking around downtown just to see what I missed out on. I spoke with Taylor who filled me in on the details and then toured me around letting me see a typical room I would have enjoyed so much better than the one I stayed in not too far from athe Cordova Inn.
Absolutely great Coffee. Great service.
Karel was amazing fantastic barista!!
Truly, the coffee was absolutely delicious !
Stopped at the bar. It was a great experience. We received great service from Austin and Taylor. They are world class We will certainly be back!
Great hotel! Great location! Great staff!
Austin was the best bartender!!! Can’t wait to return when the new addition to the hotel is open!!
Eli, Austin, Ariake, Taylor, Salv, Harelle, Bri made our Christmas very special. Best experience ever. Wonderful drinks! Quiet neighborhood even though downtown close to everything .
The staff services are excellent I would like to thank them all for their help and understanding. Austin,Eli,Ariake,Taylor,Slav,Harelle and Bri
Loved the room and ambience of the hotel itself.
We absolutely loved the Cordova Inn, the staff was amazing!! We would like to personally thank Austin P. & Taylor for our experience. The front bar/ lounge is super cute. We went to a music festival all weekend at St. Pete pier. Our group got back & Austin P. made us all world class espresso martinis. Played some great music & popped us a bottle of champagne. It was the perfect way to end our evening. Taylor was so sweet and helpful at the front desk. We Love this place and will be staying here again on our next St. Pete adventure. Thank you Cordova Inn!!! 5 stars
Ariel and Eli are the reason we keep coming back to Cordova Inn/The Scott. They are truly the best. Their warmth, consistency, and attention to detail make every visit feel special, and they’re the reason we’re regulars. Exceptional service every single time.
Bri did a great job with my drinks one of the best bartenders around, very friendly, and pretty I highly recommend getting a drink from Bri when in town.
Bry is very knowledgeable. One of the better bar experiences I've had in a very long time. I would recommend her to anyone visiting St. Pete and stopping by at the Cordova inn!
Chantelle, the general manager at the Cordova Inn Boutique, was outstanding throughout my stay. She was attentive, warm, and incredibly professional. Every detail was handled with care, making the experience truly memorable.
My wife and I had a very bad experience with the Cordova Inn in St. Petersburg FL on October 17, 2025.
Our assigned room was unfit for occupancy; bugs in most areas, and window coverings that did not provide privacy.
The Venue was undergoing a significant renovation which was not publicized on their website or other information sources.
While the room rate and location were attractive features, the poor condition of the first night’s room more than offset our satisfaction and we demanded to be placed in another, more suitable room for the next night’s stay, which the “receptionist-on-duty” agreed to do. The Venue’s management was never on-property during our 2-day reservation.
In our transactions with the Venue, we requested a rate reduction for the one night of 10/17. The offer by “management” was only for the night’s taxes to be removed from our bill. We determined that this was unacceptable and proceed to appeal the charge on our credit card (which as rejected).
From our experience I strongly recommend that you be very cautious about making any reservations with this Venue for the foreseeable future --- and have visual evidence that the Venue is suitable for lodging.
