It was everything I have come to expect from a Hampton!
The new hotel construction (Fairfield) was quite messy but what do you do?
Breakfast selection was good and the front desk staff were pleasant.
Coffee and water for making tea tasted bad. The toaster was burning everything so you have to manually cancel it
The ironing board in the room was broken.
Breakfast was fine, basic. Location was in a good spot easy to get to other places.
The power went out all night long, no back up generators. had to go to cars to charge phones, use breathing treatments, etc. when we asked the staff about the power their answer was "idk it may be fixed at 6"
I was there for business, the hotel was in a perfect location. breakfast was good with variety of foods.
I was a bit disappointed that I had to clean my shower with my own lyson whipes and spray all with lyso, there were hairs that were not mine on the shower walls and floors, a bit disguting. and the bed was very uncomfortable, able to feel the metal on the mattress. I said nothing because I literally was there from 7 pm to 7:30 am.
I am guessing normal for an overnight stay, I was not expecting luxury.
The whole atmosphere
Nothing
I like that it was clean and very nice staff.
I didn't like that on booking.com my total was $169.86 and when I got there and checked in the price was $219 a $50 difference.
Everything was great good location close to restaurants
The bed was a little soft for me my back hurt little
A lot…
Nobody wants to see come from the bottom…
Convenient location, super friendly receptionist, bed was very comfy!
Nothing!
Breakfast was good. Coffee was great. Lady who checked us in was very nice.
Only one elevator was working.
did not eat there. Good location
Bed was not comfortable and pillows were too fat and hard. People above us were extremely loud. They sounded like elephants.
It was nice to have breakfast included. Clean
Our room had mold on the can lights. Heard a lot of noises, we were in room 311 so above the lobby doors and elevator repeating banging of some automatic doors albeit the elevator or the lobby doors not sure. Beds are like sleeping on plywood. The first room we were assigned smelled like Parmesan cheese and feet so I went downstairs and politely asked for a different room then got the #311 room, with mold but didn’t want to ask for a third room. After going through the lobby Alicia asked us if we liked the room I said well there’s mold on the can lights. She said I can change your room again no problem but as a concierge would she know what the rooms look like or have notes about the room as not to have us switch rooms more than twice? Alicia was very nice I just settled.
I want to share my experience with Booking.com.
So I haven’t used booking.com ( I’m going to use B.C to abbreviate the name) in a while and after this second time it reminded me why. I looked in B.C for a room at this hotel it offered two rooms. 3 Nights king room $553 and the other option was $568 approximately. The upgraded room offered a sofa and a balcony for $15 more so I paid that. When I got to the hotel after seeing the room I asked about the sofa room and was informed it’s not an upgrade for that hotel. I then asked, do you have a lot of availability of rooms right now? She said yes. So why did B.C offer me only the two highest $$ rooms and what did I pay up for if a sofa isn’t criteria for an upgraded room and the hotel had no balconies. After this review I’m deleting my B.C app! I feel like I paid overpaid because I went through a third party.
We were welcomed whole heartedly and also the room was awesome. I came down from Ft Worth for my nephews wedding with a broken clavicle and was still able to sleep as comfortable as possible in the wonderful room we were given.
