This was such a beautiful hotel. The staff was fantastic and made the stay even better.
Pros:

Amazing view of the lake and Boromeo islands. Breakfast was fantastic. Room was decorated beautifully.

Cons:

The room could have been a bit bigger.

Pros:

Grande cura al cliente - un hotel di giuste dimensioni con un personale molto attento.
SPA e ( soprattutto) personale massaggi ottimi.

Cons:

Qualche problema di pulizia della stanza. Poi, l’arredamento interno è provocatorio ma si può fare di meglio se si vuole essere kitsch.
Colazione salata eccellente, vista la clientela straniera, i dolci…niente di che.

Beautiful view, very friendly staff
Pros:

Excellent option for a hotel on Lake Maggiore. Beautiful room and an amazing view! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast with enough choices. My one complaint would be for the exorbitant amount they charge they should provide a shuttle at any time to the guests to neighboring Stresa or Bovena downtown areas, as they are 5 minutes away. The hotel only has a shuttle service to Stresa at selected times. Small helpful things would make such a large difference.

Great views
Pros:

We recently returned to Villa Aminta after a two year gap. The hotel has amazing views of the lake and islands - it’s worth booking a lake view room for these views, but be aware that the hotel is on a major road, so it can be noisy using the balconies. The breakfast buffet is excellent with an egg station. Dinner is also excellent - we dined at the more formal restaurant where seating is outside weather permitting. The pool was surprisingly cold, but a good number of Sun loungers and no problem getting Sun umbrellas when required.
