Beautiful location. Spacious room and bathroom. The breakfast quality was excellent. The cappuccino was always served hot. .The staff is very helpful and so are shuttle drivers.
Camera splendidamente arredata con vista frontale sul Lago Maggiore. Tutto lo Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Una particolare menzione per Elisa che ci ha accompagnato nella visita dell'hotel. Colazione eccezionale per varietà e quantità. Piscina molto bella affacciata sul Lago. Grotta della Spa molto curata e ben attrezzata. Un hotel che merita veramente le 5 stelle L

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Exceptional service from every member of staff who will happily serve your every need. Food was delicious especially the Fiorintina Steak. Would recommend the tour of the Borrowmean Islands and book a private boat with reception as you will avoid all the queues and are able to choose your schedule with the boat captain who was excellent. We also enjoyed the wine tasting conducted by the lovely Emily who was knowledgeable and a first class host. Overall a wonderful experience and would love to return in the future thank you for your hospitality.
Very beautiful room, great location, wonderful spa — in general extremely stylish.
The restaurant was a bit pretentious and overpriced, but the view can’t be beat.

This is my 4th stay at Villa Aminta because it felt like home when I first arrived and still does. If you want a truly Italian property, this is the property for you. It is located outside of the tourist zone in Stresa but has a pier to arrange private water taxis to the islands or anywhere else on Lake Maggiore. They have beautiful suites and rooms with lake view at a fraction of the cost that you would spend on Lake Como. The staff is attentive and makes you feel like family from the moment you enter to the moment you depart. The hotel offers a courtesy shuttle to/from Stresa center as well as a cute grotto spa. Absolutely love this property and dream of the day I will return again.

Whilst dinner in general was good, our second night the meat was a bit tough and we had asked medium rare but came more close to rare. It did not spoil our stay.
Tout était parfait, l’hôtel est absolument magnifique, la deco très soignée, avec une vue incroyable sur le lac. Le staff très gentil et attentif. Le SPA beau et ultra confortable. Le petit dej délicieux. On a même été upgradés pour notre lune de miel 🥰 On a déjà envie de revenir !
Si je dois faire deux mini remarques :
- La literie est bien mais pourrait être encore plus confortable,
- la localisation face au lac est fabuleuse, mais il faut bien noter qu’on est à 25 min à pied du centre de Stresa
Lovely hotel right on lake Maggiore with amazing views. The hotel itself is a gorgeous villa with a beautiful collection of art and Murano glass chandeliers. Ask for a tour! Staff is very accommodating, friendly and unobtrusive, so helpful. Food at the hotel is great with seating on the lake. There is a shuttle to downtown stresa that runs on a schedule. Be sure to ask for late evening shuttle. Front desk recommended a great pizza place one night and made me a reservation for a hair appointment and taxi at a great little Hair Cafe! We had a wonderful stay.
The decor of the reception rooms are wonderfully representative of the Italianate style.
The staff are very professional and friendly.
A welcome pack for our dog ticked all the boxes -really well done on that.
Turn down service was a nice surprise.
The dinner was very expensive and we felt poorly prepared.
The bathroom with the over the bath shower was unpractical and the toiletries provided of poor quality.
Probably the best 5*L in Stresa and région, perfect location, magnificient building, great services, amazing views, the best and most efficient employees!
