I didn't like having to pay for parking. Also didn't like paying over $80 for a pet fee, wish we weren't told about when we registered. That was pretty ridiculous having to pay half as much as the room charge for a pet fee... We won't be visiting there again...
We like the location - close to beach, plenty of places within walking distance - and the hotel is great. Pool area very nice

Paying for parking, at the room rate it should have been included.

The bed was horrible it felt like it was 15 years old. The thermostat was falling off the wall. The door slammed every time you opened it no matter how lightly you opened it. The sinks seemed either extremely slow to drain or plugged. There was beer spilled in the elevator and the hallway from the conference room where there were people getting ready for the parade at 9am. The elevator also took forever and seemed like it needed service. The first morning of our stay we realized we were double charged and the person at the front desk took care of it quickly that was the best part of the stay. The hotel needs some updating for sure not worth what we paid for we will not be back which is a shame we are in the area once a month.

Location
The Toilet was loose from the floor. Carpet was spot’d tinted yellow (like iodine) in different locations. The phone charging stations wasn’t working in various locations, and I consider ridiculous charge for park in the hotel premises if we are room reservation.
Room was clean and the breakfast was average.
We requested a balcony room and had received the patio. Thought we would be viewing from a balcony the ocean, but instead viewed a construction fenced in area. The hotel was clean. The staff was ok, but I guess I am use to the Drury which the staff seems to go out of their way to make sure we were happy. I was also very disappointed in not being able to get a receipt from the hotel at check out time. I was told I would have to get the receipt from Booking.com
So my overall experience would rate this hotel as an average.
The room was great! We did not have a "view side" room, but we could still see the water from our balcony! (Awesome bonus). The beds were comfortable. The room did not have a weird hotel stench and that is always a plus!
The breakfast was not so good. I liked the banana walnut flavored waffles okay, but my husband said the other breakfast items were nasty. (He is not super picky when it comes to eggs, etc., so for him to say that, it must have been bad.
