Clean upscale property, great walkable location close to many local attrractions
Pros:

Nice hotel, excellent staff. Cool location.

I stayed at this property for almost two weeks for a business trip, for my work I spent about half my time working at the jobsite and the other half working out of my hotel room as an office.

I have traveled a lot, and considering the length of my stay, I have to say that during my stay the hotel encountered no major issues and seemed to handle them all very well. In the two weeks I stayed there, the hot water went out one time to my knowledge, the front desk told me it was out when I walked in that evening and that they were working on it, and by the time I checked maybe two hours later it was back on.

I had a car for work but driving in this area compared to home is crazy. There are a lot of one way roads in downtown Seattle, it's hard for me to orientate myself in all the skyscrapers, and the roads are really narrow and people drive a lot faster than I want to go. The location was perfect for walking, I use Google maps and just find nearby attractions but there are bars in Capitol Hill across the two bridges across I-5. Even Pike Place Market is just a mile walk away, same as the Space Needle. And there was a lot of great restaurants and stuff to find in between.

My room was very clean when I checked in and the hotel staff kept it that way throughout my stay. No complaints about the housekeeping staff.

There were 3 elevators, only one of them goes to the parking garage. But just meant changing in the lobby if needed.

Breakfast service was good, they were really good at keeping everything stocked in the mornings and they weren't in a rush to shut everyone out, the staff was very welcoming and friendly. They had a good selection of things, with yogurt and cereal consistently, a hot menu of eggs/quiches/breakfast sandwiches/lots of things that varied, the eggs were usually pretty good for buffet eggs and the roast potatoes were fantastic. They also had a waffle station and a toaster with bagels and things.

The lobby was nice, it's got a few couches and a lot of small tables that are nice to work from.

I saw a conference area in the back, didn't use it.

The gym is small and doesn't have much. Dumbbells go to 50's.

I walked around the area a lot, including late at night. Everywhere I walked nearby I felt safe and everything was clean. There is a Subway right across the street I used for quick food and a 7-11 right around the corner. There is a Walgreen's half a mile up the hill too, I was working close enough I didn't need to drive to the project so it was easier for me to walk for what I needed than get used to driving in Seattle.

Too many restaurants to list, but all like 10 minute walks. Lots of hip bars in Capitol Hill, I went out one night to a place called Saint John's nearby. I was here in February, I would think this would be a really great place to stay when the weather is nice, I'm not bothered by the cold and brought a rain jacket, and there was just so much to do nearby.

Clean and close
Pros:

Clean, nice staff, parking too expensive but close to things to do. Please don’t serve turkey sausage for breakfast, no one likes it, we never have never will, please take it out of rotation Marriott wide.

Less than desirable
Pros:

The room was not cleaned properly and there was a less than desirable smell in the room. There was blonde strains of hair in the shower.

Unimpressed
Pros:

I have stayed at the property many times. First thing I noticed the bar was removed which was disappointing. I used a Marriott certificate which covered the room but the hotel still charged $45 for parking. A free room should also include parking. The first thing I do when I get to my room is get ice. There was no plastic liner bag in my plastic ice bucket. As a Lifetime Titanium Elite I was informed at check in I could take 2 items from the in house store. I came down later that night and I took a pint of ice cream and was charged $8.59. When I took a look at my bill after arriving at my next destination I did call the hotel and was told they would remove it, however, this took about 15 minutes on hold to get this small task done.

Our stay was just good.
Pros:

The breakfast was good and various. The location is great where is not to far from the downtown and we can walk around the city.

Cons:

The WiFi provided by the hotel was absolutely bad. I could not watched any short VDO on Facebook and too slow for uploading my work.
