Not a great experience. Smelled terrible, no one was there besides a family that lives there and there bany screaming and crying. No refunds.
No daily maid service and could hear all of our neighbors through the vents.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Wifi signal was weak in room V. And the outdoor deck door needed batteries in room R, but a great stay otherwise. They also have me an ice cream when I told them I needed to cool down some spicy food and make a store run!
This was an excellent property with truly wonderful staff. Beds are exceedingly comfortable and the shower. Temperature and pressure are perfect.
Everything was pretty good! They gave us a breakfast bag since they don't serve a hot breakfast. There was a Keurig in the room with an assortment of coffee and tea. The worst part was during the night, the fire alarm went off. I called the office to tell them and see what was going on. I was half-asleep since I was woken in the middle of the night. I must have asked the lady what to do, and she very rudely said, "I suggest you do like you did in high school and get your ass out!" So unprofessional. Then about 5 minutes after the fire alarm was set off, a lady barged into our room without knocking and said they were checking rooms. Again, very unprofessional.
In the second floor rooms, sliding glass doors very near to the bed connects the room to shared balconies with other rooms. I stayed in the V-suite and had 2 doors connecting to 2 balconies closer to the bed than the bathroom door was. The staff was friendly though, and the bathroom and walk in closet alone made up for it.
Very dated. Clean but toilet seat broken.
We chose this hotel for its proximity to Merriweather Post Pavilion as my daughter and I were traveling in to see a concert. I loved that it was a unique property and the price was great for a one night stay. Villa Z with 2 queen beds had plenty of room for us both and was just so cute and quaint. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean. We had everything we needed and loved the snack bag we got at check it in. The property is older and shows its age in some quirky ways (uneven floors, staircases that twist and turn) but we loved exploring the different areas to see all the hidden gems of the Manor. We will definitely stay here again!
It was ok. Pics make it look nicer than it is. The place is aging and just needs a lot of TLC. Kind of weird that there was not a single picture on the walls in our room. The staff were very accommodating of our late arrival. Decently clean. Quiet and a comfortable bed.
The place was a big old house that was reminiscent of The Adam’s Family home. Our room was suite “T” and was dated and dirty. Many large stains on the carpet, furniture worn and inadequate, mold in the shower, cracks and holes in the wall. No HVAC control in the room which was hot. An outside exit lead to a nasty sitting area in a stair well that had flaking paint and old worn furniture.
The front desk person took us to a different room to begin with and then came back and said she made a mistake and we had to go to a room in the “basement” and our room was “no where near as nice as this one”, which we were shocked at hearing
Just a terrible experience and we will never stay there again.
The facilities are best for events, but the furniture and accomodations are worn and limited. The coffee maker in our room had no hot cups nor regular coffee K-cups. Breakfast was a bag with make it yourself oatmeal and small muffins. All rooms access required climbing many steps carrying your luggage. No elevator.
Extremely comfortable bed
Loved IT!!!!!
The room was very large and bed very comfortable. Everything was clean. The furnishings showed signs of wear but were perfectly adequate. We would definitely stay there again. Great restaurant nearby-Iron Bridge Wine Co.
A very nice, quiet and unique place to stay. My husband and I stayed for 1 night on our way to the ocean. Check in went smoothly, we were given a bag of snacks and juice which was a nice touch.
Loved the whole property. Staff was always accessible and accommodating
There was no maid service or trash pick up in room for 3 days . The freezer was full of ice needed defrosting and unusable .
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The walk-in shower had a slick floor. My wife slipped and almost fell; a shower mat or similar will resolve that issue.
Nice atmosphere and balcony area. The welcome packages are also a nice touch.
Very nice to lace to stay’
